to take an 8 month old to WDW? Now we wouldnt of planned to, but the trip (long story) wasnt planned by us...... but we're going at the end of the month with our 4 year old and 8 month old and I am nervous as heck. Excited too, but nervous. There is no way we can back out this trip as it's a gift to us from my dad (im in my 30's) to share with my Mom.
Has anyone visited the greatest place on earth with a baby? Do ppl do that? Or are we NUTS?

The only thing that makes me feel even a tiny bit better now (other than my 8 mo olds gorgoeus smile) is the fact that we rescheduled for 6/1/07. That seems a lot longer than a year and a half away

People used to think I was nuts. My first time to take all three of my children they were 5 1/2yo, 21 mos., and 8 mos. My Mom went with me (hubby had to work),and we had quite a system. You should have seen all the supplies we had to take - I'm sure you can imagine
We took their strollers (the two babies), diaper bag, food bag (8 month old was still drinking formula/eating baby food), and all the other essentials. We looked like a couple of pack mules and got a lot of wide-eyed looks from other passengers on the buses. We could not put either of the babies down and sometimes a nice person would actually get off the bus to help us. Looking back I can't believe I did that, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I've been taking them every year since, usually by myself. They are now 13, 9, and 8, and we're packing for our Thanksgiving trip in 10 days!! Good luck and have a great time - memories are priceless.
