when phoning to book my dates, I should ask for APH or AAA rates, or any special packages that might be available. But I don't actually have to have the AP or AAA membership to book it, right? As long as I purchase the pass or membership before check-in?

Also, would I be allowed to book 2 rooms and receive APH or AAA discounts on both rooms?

Thanks!

That is correct, you can go to the universal site and check the rates for
your dates also. just in the promo box put aph or aaa. upon check in is when you may have to show your pass or aaa card.

as for booking more then one room using aph or aaa I would think if your party is more than 5 they would let you, but maybe someone else who has done this can shed more light on it.

Yes, I booked 2 rooms using my AAA card and was able to get both rooms at the AAA rate.
