Please tell me about Niagara Falls

I have always hated the "us vs them" mentality. PLEASE don't look at it that way. Both sides have wonderful things to offer. If you can swing it, do both sides. Stay on one side, and walk across the bridge to the other side. Get the bundled ticket packages. They are a good deal. And do all the stuff they offer. Some items are better than others, but it's all fun.
Even on a busy day, you can do all NF has to offer, both sides, in 2 full days, 3 days if you really want to move slowly. Now this advise is for seasoned Disney people, Who will find the 2 day "touring plan" a slow pace compared to WDW.
Sometimes I take the kids for half a day and just do a handful of the touristy stuff. So much fun.
The putt putt is cheesy, but fun. There is the butterfly conservatory that's neat. The Canadian side has all kinds of cheesy touristy stuff that is great fun for kids....like wax museums etc. sure they cost $, but I think it is a lot cheaper than WDW.
The hotels are better on Canadian side, but the American side has some nice ones too. It depends what your priority is.

I soooooo recommend the Hilton Fallsview, Canadian side. Amazing views, great rooms, great pool with a waterside. And you can always find a good deal if you research a little.

It you are going to dave and busters, go to their website for coupons before you go. Kids just love that place. But they are a little pricey.

Restaurants are probably my biggest complaint about NF. They tend to be overly priced and food is ok at best. There are a few hidden jems, if you know where to look. We love the Como on American side....good Italian food. But it is into the city a little. Not hard to find, just a little effort. And don't worry you wont be the victim of a drive-by if you go there.

Oh, if you have a couple more days, branch out to Niagara on the lake, old fort Niagara, Lewiston, art park, buffalo, grand island has a cute amusement park, and even Toronto. I could spend an hour telling you about Toronto. Their amusement park has some of the best roller coasters i've ever seen. And they have lots of coasters for the younger set.....under 42 inches. You could spend a week or more and never do everything that is available. And it could be one of your best nonWDW trips ever you took.

Omg I love that place!! http://www.canadaswonderland.com/

I am ready to book my room at Embassy Suites. Can someone tell me if you can see the fireworks from your room? I just noticed they have 2 different fallsview rooms, one says horseshoe falls and the other says both falls and is $20 more/night. Which one??
