Please tell me about concierge level :)

We have booked only concierge and the 1 bedroom. We love the easy, no hassle, early boarding...heard others that love that as well and think that alone is worth the cost. The private lounge and sundeck are great perks. Makes the boat feel less crowded. The staff is awesome and very attentive. We are low maintenance people and don't require much..it's just a nice way to cruise when it's just the 2 of us.

We did the concierge on a 3 night in a Family suite. It was about $600-700 for the upgrade over the highest non concierge level.

We loved it it was worth every penny. Just for the location on the ship ....very quiet and private and the LOUNGE!!!
The lounge....wow. Food, morning, afternoon, two cocktail hours and late night treats. All included. We are not big drinkers...but free cocktails. There is a meet and greet Cocktail our when you board. Oh, boarding early...room ready very early.

Plus, we wanted a Cabana and that was booked very earlier by shoreside concierge. Who called us in advance of our 100 day window to make all our bookings for us. Which appeared at the 100 day mark.

Our table locations in the dinner rooms were very good. AP ....Crush conversing with our family!!!

The room decor very luxurious, bath product extras. Private Sun deck. Private meet and greet with a Character.

The lounge is so great just for hanging out in between activities. Board games, iPads etc.
Cappuccino machine. And just help with any questions, or any changes that need to be made to activities.

And the Cabana....loved it!!!!

It's going to be hard to go non Conierge in the futur. Or maybe always Concierge from now on!!!☺️

I think it depends a lot on the cost, too. We only do 7 night cruises, and that gets pricey. When we sailed concierge last January, it was about a 50% increase in what we would have paid for the same non-concierge room. When we sail over New Years Eve this coming December, it would cost more than double an already-high holiday fare. All the concierge perks in the world aren't worth paying $19,000 for a Cat V, IMO, although I'm sure someone out there will pony up for it.

We have always sailed concierge and I find it a little difficult to justify in words, but I'll give it a try. DD15 has allergies and though DCL does a good job with allergies, I always feel better having a concierge CM to talk to if there is an issue (only once for a TS breakfast). We like to get a suite for the extra space and love having the lounge (mainly for coffee). The ease of boarding is a plus and being able to bypass guest services counter for most things is really handy. Also, we always get a cabana and concierge raises our chances quite a bit. We do like to drink on the cruise, but find that we enjoy the public spaces for this more. We haven't been to the sun deck since shade is now available. We might actually use it now.
