Please tell an outrageous story...

...about people taking advantage. I didn't want to hijack my own thread (the Not A Domestic Goddess thread) so I'll tell my story here.

This happened to my best friend while we were in nursing school. It was so outrageous she had to laugh about it!

An older couple from her church (like 45ish, we were 30ish at the time) who she really didn't know very well asked if they could have their wedding at her house because her house was larger than either of their houses. She was a bit surprised but agreed to have the wedding and reception at her house. After it was over, not only did the couple apparently expect her to clean the house herself, they went through the house and into her refrigerator and scooped up all the partially-used open bottles of wine and waved their goodbyes and left.

I have one SIL (who I fondly refer to as "Crazy SIL") who brings "taking advantage of" to whole new heights. Thankfully, she lives out of town...far away....

Her latest...her sister ("Good SIL") was in her town for a conference. Crazy SIL asked Good SIL if they could meet somewhere so that Crazy could give Good a shower gift so Good could carry it home on the plane because Crazy didn't want to deal with carrying it on the plane when she comes here next month to go to Good's daughter's bridal shower. Apparently Crazy felt that it was better to put Good out and make her struggle with the gift (a cutting board, so it's also not light) so she wouldn't have to.

That's one...I have thousands more....
