Please share your experience with 4th FP

I will be at WDW with my family 6/29-7/4. It will be me, DH, and three children. In order to attempt a 4th fp, will I need all of their bands or can I use mine with the "select all members of your party" option, like it asks at home from your PC? TIA!

Here now and yesterday we were able to use 7 FP+ in MK. We could of definitely got more but we were content watching 2 parades wishes and had a ADR at CRT so we just did not try for more. We rode everything we wanted to. The lines at the kiosks were a little hectic in some spots due to a lot of people coming and setting up their first three. The kiosk in new fantasy land and storybook circus are much faster than the one by the Diamond Horseshoe. It seems they needed more kiosks on that end of the park.

Are the kiosks throughout the parks? Easy to locate?

They have many locations throughout the park - just ask a CM where the nearest one is.

Some of the kiosk locations are terrible, tho. Especially the one in the pass through between Frontierland and Adventureland. That space is tight enough as it is with people cutting through between the two sides of the park and people using the restrooms located there. Now add the fastpass+ line and its mayhem.

I won't have first hand experience until you do, but I have read on other threads as long as the bands are linked together, you should only need one to make FP+ reservations for all of you.

Did anybody use the 4th (or subsequent) FP+ for a nighttime show? I don't want to use up valuable spots for them so I was wondering how that experience worked. If you were able to get, which show and at what time of day did you book it?

We were in DHS on Saturday May 3rd and MK on Sunday May 4th.

Saturday, we used up our 3 original FP+ before 1 pm, so about that time, we got a 4th FP+ from the kiosk by ToT. We were about to leave for a break, so we got them for RnRC at 6:50 pm to use when we came back that evening. That was the only additional FP+ we reserved because once we got back and did a couple other things we had missed in the morning, had dinner, and used our RnRC FP+ it was time to go in for Fantasmic.

Sunday we again had our 3 planned for the morning before our break. We forgot to get a 4th FP+ before we left the park for our break, so we did that first when we got back into the park at 6:45 pm. We went to the Storybook Circus (I think?) kiosk and got FP+ for Haunted Mansion around 8 pm. But my DS spotted the Tomorrowland Speedway while we were in line for Mad Tea Party, and the standby was long so we used the app to change our HM FP+ to the Speedway for 7:30 or so, which was only 10 minutes away at the time I was changing it on the app. Then around 8 pm, we went to another kiosk and got ones for Jungle Cruise at 8:50 pm. We used that one at 8:45 pm, then immediately went to the kiosk out front after our ride and got one for Haunted Mansion again for late night, something like 11:30 pm.

I hated having to go to the kiosk for the additional FP+, even though we never encountered extremely long lines when we went (though we did see them as we walked around all day). But I did like that once they appeared on the app I was able to change them as needed on there instead of having to go back to a kiosk for that.

Last Sunday we got a 4th and 5th at MK -Pooh and Under the Sea.

Both started about an hour from when we got them. The CM's at the kiosks were surprised that we even knew that we could get more.

I think this is a significant post! I think that most "civilians" are not aware that they can get a 4th, 5th, etc FP....YET! Word will get out an these reports will become outdated....
If you're visiting in August, I don't think I'd give current trends too much weight.

I was there from 5/29-6/2. Here's our fastpass+ schedule, the first three each day were scheduled, the rest added
5/29 - mine train, jungle cruise, haunted mansion ( arrived at 9pm) 3 total
5/30- mine train, space mountain, splash mountain, big thunder, pirates, ( hop to Hollywood for star wars characters, then back to mk) haunted mansion, cinderella/rapunzel, sleeping beauty/snow white. 8 total
5/31 star tours, tower of terror, toy story, ( hop to epcot) maelstrom, figment, character spot, nemo, ( back to Hollywood) star tours, great movie ride. 9 total
6/1 everest, dinosaur, ( let safari expire on way to epcot), living with the land, ( rain/ thunder caused is to go back to the hotel for a break) 3 total
6/2 mine train, Anna and elsa, enchanted tales with belle, buzz, leave at 12:30 4 total

Conclusion: 4 th or more fast passes are completely possible. The kiosk were not overly crowded, and were marked on the maps. Waited at most five minutes for a kiosk. Headliners were gone by early morning, so book those ahead of time.

If people don't know about the extra FP+ then that's their own fault as the info is out there and plentiful, Disney cannot contact all it's visitors and let them know which is why Disboards and the like are there.

We were at DW May 29-June 5 and getting the 4th FP+ never worked for us. We had our 3 FP+ for big rides each day and when they were gone the only FP+ rides that were available had small lines and the rides that had no FP+ had 60+ lines. The days at Epcot and HS were weren't able to get a 4th FP+ for another Tier 1 for they were all gone. And what bothered me was I could pick to get say Test Track for another day but then I would have to pick 2 rides I really didn't want to do or redo and I would feel guilty about taking them and not using them. I will also say when we missed a FP+ we weren't eligible for the 4th FP+. But like I said this was our experience

I agree! I did an online chat with a CM on wdw.com today to ask about show times for Lion King because the website is showing no shows past 4:00 in July While she was answering me she said, "You know you can book a fourth, fifth, etc... FP+ after you use the first three? I don't think many guests know that, so I just wanted to make sure you knew." I think they are trying to put the word out EVERY chance they get. We are going to try for a fourth to go to the Lion King show since I think it'll have a better likelihood of being available later in the day than some of the others will.
