Effective immediately attempts to get around the word filter by using an asterisk or other letter or symbol in place of the real letters will be an offence that is subject to immediate banning.
The words have been placed in the filter because we do not want them appearing on the boards. There are certainly plenty of ways to express yourself without resorting to bypassing the filter.

I have recieved "several" PM's and emails with questions on this so I will try to clarify a few things.
There are legitimate words that are caught by the filter. There is no problem if you are typing a legitimate word in a normal context and it gets asterisked out.
It is also ok to type &*#$)()*(*)## or some other random string to show exasperation as long as it can't be recognized as a filtered word.
What we are talking about here is a purposeful attempt to defeat the word filter.
