Thanks for the clarification - I was afraid I could get banned for trying to put my last name in a post!

Alex I have a question....what if you put in a word that gets asterisked that you didn't know was a "banned" word? For instance we were talking about woman things on a pregnant post and I noticed that one of the words was **'d out and I didn't even realize it.

Or are you talking about people who try to sneak around those asterisks??????

Basically we are talking about people using asterisks or other symbols to get around the word filter.
For example if the word cat was in the word filter (I can dream right?)
and you typed ca* or c** or c*a*t
We aren't looking to hurt anyone having a legitimate discusion

Thanks for the clarification about the word filters bleeping legitimate names and words. I really had to laugh one time over on the DVC board when someone was trying to say something about Peninsular Road and said the DIS wouldn't let her type it! Seems she was spelling it wrong!
