Slash away!! Have your fun. Give me your 2 or 3 cents.

Doing a little c&p from my PTR.

Background:
DH and I have been to the world many times. This upcoming December trip is all about DD. She will be 26 months and this will be her first trip to the world. She loves to eat and is adventurous with food. But that is now at 19 months, who knows what she will be like come then!

Our ADRs window opens early next week, so please tell me what you think!

Sun: We will head up early this morning for the 3 hour drive. This is the only day I can squeeze in DTD. I only want to go so we can shop at Once Upon a Toy and buy some Mr. Potato Head Disney parts for DD. After a quick lunch at either Earl or Wolfgang, we will drive over to the BCV. If our room isn't ready, and weather permitting, perhaps we will enjoy some time at Stormalong Bay. After checking in and getting settled, we will do dinner at Cape May. We've been there once before and enjoyed it. Buffets are a good option for us because DD likes to eat and that way she can share off our plates. I am open though to perhaps going to Kouzzina. Thoughts? DD does like Greek food. We've never eaten there. Open to other restaurants in BW area.

Mon: DHS is the recommended park today. We want to be there for rope drop and stay for a CS lunch somewhere. We will take an afternoon break. I am then torn between Mama Melrose or Kouzzina. MM has gotten some not so great reviews in the past, but there was a recent change in chefs. Although, I still hear horrors about waiting for your table to open up. I hear good things about Kouzzina and DD currently likes Greek food. We want to enjoy Osborne lights (especially when people head over to see Fantasmic at 6:30pm--hoping that lightens the Osborne crowds a bit.)

Tues: As we are staying next door to EPCOT, we will enter at opening and head over to the Character Spot. Perhaps score some FP for Soarin' and TT. We want to focus on Nemo/Crush/Aquarium, Living with Land tour, and Figment. I know it is the least recommended park, but we will only be there in the opening hours. Here's where I need your advice!! Which would you opt for? 1) Have a lunch at noon at Biergarten (been there before), then rest for a bit before heading to MK for MVMCP. 2. Have a light snack, rest, then head to MK and do the latest lunch possible either at Be Our Guest or LTT (never been), then enjoy party and do light CS later on in MK. 3. Light lunch, early dinner ADR at BoG (of course BoG--we will have to wait for)

Wed: As we will be recovering from the party, we will 'sleep in' (as if DD will let us ) and enjoy the resort during the morning hours. We will do a little World Showcase tour and have a CS lunch there. Then later, head over to Poly for 'Ohana. We've never eaten there. If Wishes remains at 8pm, we will stay to watch from the beach before retiring for the night. (What time should we book to ensure we can watch Wishes?)

Thurs: MK at rope drop for EMH. Depending on DD, we will head back to room for rest/possible swim. Head to Akershus for dinner in Norway. (I've been and loved it.) Pack up that night.

Fri: Check out and head straight to AK. Do lunch at Tusker House (never been) before heading home. I have heard good things about TH. (We enjoyed the buffet at Boma.) And it might be nice to end the stay with a character meal.

So how does this plan look? Am I missing anything obvious? Feel free to praise or bash. My ADR window opens in a few weeks, so I have some time to tinker with that and read more reviews. As my DH has already reminded me- "You know you are going to change this all several times before December!" haha But isn't that part of the 'fun'?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

FYI: My crowd calendar info is from EasyWDW

I think it looks great! You picked some good ones. There really isn't one thing I can say negative.

I like your choices as well. We are trying Kouzzina for dinner in August. We like Greek food as well. We had a really good meal at Mama Melrose's last year and plan to go back this year. And we love, love, LOVE 'Ohana! No advice on what time to see Wishes though as we always eat early and head back to the Park.

Will Be Our Guest be CS or TS for lunch? That may help make your decision on your MVMCP day. We do like Biergarten but I would much prefer a TS at BoG if it were me.

What about Sci Fi instead of Mama Melrose? I think your DD would be transfixed by that restaurant at her age, I bet she'd love eating in the car too.

You have to do Be Our Guest if its available!! I am going in October and am so sad I'll miss it.

I would try for an earlier ADR at Ohana if you want to see Wishes on the beach. I think eating will take more than an hour, plus you have to factor in the possibility you'll be seated late. You can watch Wishes from the restaurant though, they dim the lights and pipe in the music.

Ahh you still have me torn on Kouzinna v. MM! haha. Re: BoG, I am open to just doing a CS or going for the TS ADR. I guess I need to make a back up reservation now in case things won't work out for BoG.

I ate at SciFi in the past and wasn't all that impressed with the food. This was back in '06 though, so maybe things are better? I totally hear you about BoG. I guess I just have to wait and see if it will work out for us.

Thanks for the tip about Wishes/'Ohana. I didn't realize you could also watch the show from inside. I haven't stepped on the Poly grounds since '90!

THANKS!
