I got BC for $224 a night standard room. Dec. 7 to Ded 15

$129 for a standard view sounds closer to what it should be. I don't understand the drastic differences in rates. And room availability is constantly changing. A several days, CR tower as well as gardenwing rooms were coming up for my dates and AKL had no standard savannah view. Now AKL has standard savannah but no CR rooms of anykind.

The drastic price different is because of the extra $50 a night for 2 more adults. Cajunwdwfan mentioned 4 adults. So I guess $129 + $50 + tax.

BTW, Beach Club standard view was available for those dates for $2,247.84 - this works out to be $224/night before tax. Gotta love the fact that Disney books your stay based on your *first* nights rate .

Please don't mention that too often ~~ that'll be the next thing Disney changes!!!

$729.00 for 6 nights at POR, 11.6 - 11.12 (regular season). I was at about $840.00 with AAA rates.

I just booked 11/24-11/29 at Pop Century for $440.45. This was a savings of about $28.00 from my AAA rate. I figure any little bit helps. I'm on the phone right now to cancel my old reservation. I called this morning to see if they can just apply the new Passholder Best Rate but they said no because regular AP rates aren't out yet for November.

Thanks to everyone here, I just booked YC std view (2 adults, 3 kids) Oct 29-Nov 5 for $283/night inc tax. I just looked it up online and the reg price is $372. We were going to do 2 rooms at CBR, and for $200 less, we get to go back to YC!

I just booked CS - Water View for 12/2, 3 nights value season for $364.62 including tax. This was done on-line as "best rate". Maybe it will go even lower! A $40 per night discount is pretty good though.

cajun - I keep putting in 12/17-12/19 for WL and am only getting courtyard view??!! Ughh....I really want standard/woods view!

I had the same trouble the first time.
I was trying the 16th to the 20th, at the time nothing was available.
Then we decided to book our entire stay at WL instead of a split between two resorts.

The day I booked the 11th to the 20th only standard was available so I took it. The next morning standard, woods, and courtyard were available.


Keep trying standard/woods might come up.

Everyone else is getting the Moderates for $109. Wonder how you got the $94? Is it POFQ that is just cheaper maybe?

OK, just did all the Mod. for my dates and got $94 a night. Not sure it is worth an extra $312 for the week though to stay there over the Values. Hmmm...I hate this.

For early December, we booked AKL pool view for $172.84 per night including tax. This is a $70 per night discount. Love the pool view there almost as much as savannah and can't wait to sit around the fire pit at the end of the day sipping a Victoria Falls Mist!

I think the difference in price for the mods is water or pref view vs standard view.

That is correct 94 is standard and 109 in water view. My resis is for water view that is why it is 109.00
