We went to the first one on 9/30 and had a wonderful time! The kids absolutely loved it! They had way more fun than they did with the Christmas party. We got there about 4:15 and ate at the Crystal Palace. This year they didn't herd people into Tomorrowland. Instead everyone was heading to Adventureland or Frontierland. When we got done eating we waited for the Villians Mix and Mingle infront of the Castle. We just watched them dance but didn't hang around for pics and autographs. It was our last night there and we headed straight for Fantasyland with the younger kids while the older two went for the free face painting. It worked out to be a great plan because Fantasyland was deserted! Dumbo was a walk on and wasn't even full. Everything was practically walk on for the first hour. It got a little busier after that but we didn't wait for really any ride all evening.
The parade was great. I missed the headless horseman though so I was bumming. Oh well, maybe next year! I am already planning the Halloween party to be a yearly family tradition! Oh and the candy! We were in Toontown when it was closing and the girl gave us 6 full bags of candy! Which was great because my kids didn't get much trick or treating time in because of riding all the rides. It was a wonderful way to end our Disney vacation. I'd of loved to have done it twice if we were staying longer.
