Teresa actually postd her request to sed birthday info here on the Dis Unplugged Board a while back.

I spend hours on the DIS most every day - although not always on the Podcast board, but I missed it.

That would add some listeners - if they see the post on the Podcast board. I imagine we have over 10,000 listeners? That is a lot of names.

I liked the segment. I recognized some names. But I wonder what the casual listener thought of the segment?

Every listener won't like every segment, rant, review, news item - so it is all good.

I didn't know that.

I don't personally wish to hear my name read. The fact that I'm a year older ceased to be a thrill many years ago. But if there are people who do and she's willing to sit there and read the names, I guess we all shouldn't whine about their fun.

I still think it's a huge snoozefest, but more power to her and all the people to whom she is bringing happiness.

Another birthday is really just fine, considering the alternative. That is what my mother used to say. She missed her last birthday by dying last summer.

I am not kidding. I couldn't care less about having my name read on the podcast (unless it is preceeded by "and the free cruise goes to...", which I seriously doubt, lol). I don't even understand why anyone would care. Kids, I get. Grown-ups? Just don't get it.

But that doesn't mean it isn't big fun for the rest of you. So, have at it. If this little thing brings happiness to Theresa and the birthday people, that's great. I'm all for happiness.
