At first I was shocked that the Anthonys were asking for donations to pay for Caylee's funeral, but after I thought about it, I realized they probably are dead broke. They weren't well off to begin with and I don't think George or Cindy have been working much if at all. The only way I would donate though is directly to the funeral home. I wouldn't give money directly to the Anthony's for fear it might go to fund Casey's defense.

I also read on Websleuths that Casey's attorney has started a "Casey's Innocent" phone tip line.

I spend way too much time over there. Interesting reading though. They have discussions on many missing children cases (like Madeline McCann) and unsolved murders (like JonBenet Ramsey) over there too.

Tonight on NG they it said that the lawyer for Lee came out and said he might be charged with something. I wasn't paying close enough attention, but maybe obstruction of justice?

Yep, that and destroying/hiding evidence. The local news down here can't figure out why Lee's own atty. is broadcasting that info right now (before any charges are announced).

Another weird thing that came out was that one of the Anthony's own Private Investigators said that a month ago he was videotaping the area where they found the remains and that the body was not there then. So the police said hey wait a minute - if that is true, just what was he doing there videotaping a month ago? Did the Anthony's tell him that's where they put it? Here's a link to that report:

OK, not to be mean, but I wouldn't want Lee Anthony's attorney representing me. He seems like a bumbling law student.

I agree about Lee's lawyer. I think the Anthony's are probably getting lawyers who want publicity so the lawyers they find are probably crappy. Even Jose Baez the lawyer representing Casey doesn't have a lot of murder trial experience. He was an a criminologist before he became a lawyer. He also went to a bottom tier law school.

Interesting report. Why is LP still involved and still in town, I thought his part in this was long over with? Why wouldn't they give the meter reader guy the Reward money, he did find little Caylee? Do you think Lee had anything to do with moving the body to this location to be found?

I read that Casey asked an inmate for an attorney name and they suggested Jose Baez. I can't remember if I read this from websleuths or if it was in one of the transcripts. Her parents were not happy with her choice.

He didn't call the TIPS line. There was an article in the newspaper about it. It has also been reported that he can not accept a reward because he is a county employee. I don't know if that includes rewards from private parties.

I just read the article that was linked here about the PI and one thing that caught my eye:

The defense's spokesman said they don't want their former private eye to divulge privileged conversations they might have had about where Caylee's remains might be.

Now this would have been before they even knew Caylee was dead and they were still saying she was alive to the media...why were they discussing where the remains might be if they were convinced she was still alive

they probably knew all along....all they would have to do is prove reasonable doubt....and without a body they could have done that.

Just talking about the PI video filming the area the body was found and LP talking nonsense.

It is very interesting that he was video taping that area before she was found. You know they will find some stupid excuse to explain it away.

LP drives me nuts..he was saying last night that he saw the video and it is just about a minute and not the same location. Wow, LP got to see it but law enforcement hasn't? LP needs to go back to where he came from, he makes the most ridiculous comments and he looks like an idiot. He tries to come across like he knows so much..like he's the star witness or something, but really he probably knows nothing

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- The Anthony family has made it clear that they will do any on camera interviews until after Caylee Marie is laid to rest.

The toddler was missing from June of last year until December when her remains were found near the East Orange County home where she lived with her grandparents George and Cindy and her mother Casey who is in jail charged with her murder.

Friday George Anthony spoke off camera with FOX 35 about a few things he said we could share.

there are two motions today....Jose showed up with no Casey, the judge made them go get Casey from the jail, she waived her right to appear but the judge said you're here you may as well stay. They are talking about the photos of teh remains as well as the hair sample and she is showing no emotion whatsoever.
