Poor Baby. I just hope that she is at peace. I just keep thinking why didnt she just leave Caylee with her Mom and Dad if she didnt want her. I know that they are a little...well, a lot odd but clearly they loved her and would have taken care of her. Why did Casey have to hurt that poor little angel. I know she has not been convicted of anything yet and you are innocent until proven guilty but.........
Do you think the money that was collected by her grandparents to help with the search will now go to Casey's Defense fund??? I heard that somewhere but can't remember who told me. I am hoping it is not true!

and where was the wooded area that George was spotted walking out of? It was awhile ago but does anyone remember that? I'm just thinking about when the cadaver dogs hit on something in the backyard and that....didn't know if they tied in together but I suppose it would've been linked by now....

Actually - and I say this as a Certified Balloon Artist who does these all the time, a properly orchestrated balloon release poses NO threat to anything. A latex balloon decomposes at the same rate as a regular oak tree leaf. A lot less than your regular plastic carrier bag! The problems occur when people release balloons with ribbons or plastic valves attached. A responsible balloon professional would never release a balloon like that. I understand that some states in the US do have banning orders on releases, but this is due to California Balloon Law, which mainly focuses on metallic (mylar) balloons which can cause power outage if they touch power lines upon release. Sorry to get on my soap box, but this is my lively hood and it's ill informed people who are sharing incorrect information that are encouraging councils and environmental groups to jump on the band wagon and try and wipe out a fun industry.

Just to stay off topic for a bit...the ribbon thing actuall happened recently at a Buffalo Bills football game. We had just walked into the stadium and all the power went out..someone released a ballon with the metallic ribbons and it hit a transformer. They played half the game without power and there was no tv coverage.

Police got another search warrant today for the Anthony home. Right after they released the crime scene, 4 vans pulled up to the home, they were there almost 2 hours and looks like they took out 4 boxes. I just can't imagine what else they could possibly be looking for or removing from the home. Unless maybe the toxicology reports came back today and there was something in those that sent them back. Cindy and George were home when they came and stayed in the house while the police were there.

OMG, I had forgotten about that. I was wondering how they already had a DNA sample when Caylee was alive to compare with the remains onsite. It's amazing how one of Casey's old lies (about Jesse being the father and prompting a DNA test two years ago) now my help convict her.

I never realized that is where they got the DNA from either. Way to go. Things always comes back to bite you in the butt when you act like she has. Thank goodness something is working right in this case.

I've been lurking here for a bit. I have to say the first time I heard of this case I couldn't believe anyone could believe this woman was innocent. If one of my kids vanished I might wait an hour while I ran around looking for the kid, but then you get that omg she's really gone, and you call the police, your parents, anyone and everyone you can think of begging them to help you find the kid. You don't go party while shes lost. You don't mock the searchers. You tell the police every tiny detail and don't hide anything because it might save your child. Even if she didn't kill her daugher directly, her behavior helped kill her. I so badly want this woman dead. Too bad they so rarely put killer parents to death (unlike killer kids).

ps.. do you think finding the body might encourage them to push for death instead of life?

I would be shocked if they did not seek the death penalty. Given the strong feelings and emotions in this case I am sure it will be put back on the table and she will get it. There is no way this monster is getting off. I do believe though, that the death penalty is too humane for Casey Anthony.

i think death is too good for her, personally i'll move to Florida if my taxes will help her rot in prison...usually i don't feel this way, but she deserves to have a long life thinking about what a bleeping bleephole she is.

though someone mentioned that, because her sense of self-preservation is so strong, the death penalty may scare her into actually telling the truth.

And after Casey's mother tracked her down and realized Caylee had been missing for a MONTH, Casey pleaded with her mother before she called police to give her "one more day" ... she admits to her mother she hasn't seen her daughter in 31 days and yet seriously asks to wait yet another day before calling the police? One more day for what? To run away, go into hiding? Hide the body better? Unbelievable.

They are planning a private memorial service. They have not spoken with Casey. They want their conversation with her to be private. Since anything they say to her at this time will be recorded and released to the media, they will not be speaking with her.

A large number of toys have been piled in a memorial in front of the Anthony home by people mourning the loss of Caylee. The Anthony's plan on taking the toys to a local shelter and donating them for needy children for Christmas. They said they think it is something that Caylee would have liked. She always loved other children.

I believe the Anthony's are in great pain at this time. They will not be making any public appearances in the near future.

When they announced that they had found Caylee, the med exam said that the Mother would have to sign a release to a family member for the body for burial. I suppose Casey has done this. Normally jails allow attendance to the funeral ( before the service and when no one else is there ). I wonder if Casey will be allowed or even want to go.

Thats a good question. If she is allowed to go they would have to keep it quite so the public does not get to her. Can you imagine what kind of circus that would be.

I also find it ironic that she had to sign a release to a family member...Cindy and George...so they could bury her daughter. If she would have only done that back in June.

true.....and I cannot imagine how they will keep the when and where a secret....I just hope people have enough sense to realize this is a little baby who deserves the dignity and respect she didn't receive from her mother and don't make it a circus....no matter what the thoughts about the mother, her child deserves more.

I wonder if they offered her a deal if she would actually confess? Tell us what happened and we won't go for the dealth penalty type of thing?

I agree, she at least deserves some dignity in how she is laid to rest, poor baby. Plus, no matter what we think about the Grandmother and the way she had blinders on, I am sure her heart is breaking and George's too...they deserve to have some private time to bury their grandaughter

ITA. They infuriate me sometimes, but I have no doubt that they loved and adored Caylee and deserve to grieve and bury her in private. I also think about what a horrible Christmas this will be for them. I know Caylee won't be having Christmas at all, but also can't imagine the awful dose of reality Christmas Day at the Anthony house will be.

Wow, just WOW. I'm watching NG and Jessie Grund is on (her ex fiance) and he said the first time that Casey broke off their engagement was because Casey thought that Jessie loved Caylee more than her.

That was just heartbreaking to watch him talk about how much he loved Caylee and how he dressed up like Santa for her on her first Christmas since they missed the mall santa
