It depends. Once she has been tried and sentenced, they cannot change her sentence without giving her a new trial. I doubt that would happen.

Breaking news in the Orlando area...the sheriff department says they have found what appears to be the bones of a small child in a wooded area about a block from the Anthony's house. The bones are wrapped in a plastic bag secured with duct tape. A meter reader spotted it. The coroner has not confirmed that it is a child's body, but they think it is.

I could not find this thread to post- so I started a new thread. (oops). Fox 35 news is on the phone with "Jim" from the Orange county sheriff office. He is saying it is a small child.

We live in Central Florida and this story has been so heartbreaking. God has not seen fit to bless DH and I with children and we have thought so many times that we would have LOVED to have taken that precious child if Casey didn't want her.

They are saying it is more than just bones. It is a badly decomposed body. At this point, they cannot tell the sex of the child due to the decomposed state of the body. They have not removed it from the area, but are waiting for the coroner.

It is in a heavily wooded area about a block from the Anthony home. There is no sidewalk along that side of the road, so it is not an area that anyone would normally enter. Apparently the meter reader was doing some work in that area when he came across the remains.

Unfortunately, we are having a very strong line of storms moving through the area. It is currently pouring at my house. The storms will be moving into the crime scene area soon. This will slow down the investigation.

I really think they may have found Caylee.

The sheriff's department has confirmed that the skull is that of a human.

I have the local news on right now... and right now that seems to be the only information they have. G&CA are flying back to Orlando from LA, where they were making some more TV appearances.

A live reporter is reporting that the area has a "different feel" than the LP Blanchard Park "finding"... and that neighbors say that Casey and her friends used to hang out in this wooded area -- it's a 30 second drive from her house.

They just reported that the utility worker was working on a problem and was doing a search for a pipeline. He was digging in the area and came across the body. How bizarre. If that worker hadn't been out there working, the body might never have been found.

The coroner has just arrived on the scene. Hopefully, there will be some type of confirmation soon.

A neighbor is saying that they did search the area more than once. Apparently, they did not see anything because the body was buried.

I have WESH 2 on right now and they are saying that the area is VERY close to the Anthony home and that Casey used to hang out there when she was a teenager.

They are saying that the remains are human and were found in a densely wooded area.

For those that don't venture off WDW property when you're here-there are a LOT of dense woods around the Orlando area that people just don't go wandering into. I'm kind of surprised that the utility guy was in there.

They just interviewed LP and he said the exact same thing. He also said he's been told the body is of a girl, believed to be 3 years of age or younger.

There are now three levels of crime scene tape around the area.
