I don't understand why she WOULDN'T be there. She should be thanking each and every person for looking through that hell-hole of a swamp. Taking the time out of their day to look for her granddaughter.

Wonderful people these search and rescue (or recovery) workers. Imagine the sad images they'll have in their minds for the rest of their lives if they found her.
