Please Look at This Picture - Has Anyone Seen This Missing Baby? UPDATES THROUGHOUT

Thank you.

I get frustrated at everything I have heard and I just want to shake some sense into all of them, I don't know why the police, FBI, or other Law enforcement hasn't done something, or have they done all they can do for now? I guess things like that aren't allowed, especially with her lawyered up, and what an idiot he is. I personally couldn't defend a person like this.

Suzanne

I get frustrated too. I am really hoping that the police know more than they are letting on.

This post, made by another person on a missing children board, expresses exactly the frustration I think we all feel:

I, too, find myself feeling "offended and angry" watching the grandmother bully the media and audience - Find her granddaughter! Find her granddaughter now!

Then, in the same breath . . . "We know that Casey knows who has Caylee - but, we will just have to wait and see if Casey is capable of opening up to us and telling us the truth" -

Why does all of America need to look/hunt/find Caylee when Casey knows who has her?

None of these statements are truthful or believable - Just poor taste and the loss of a little girl -

That statement is so true. Sadly.

I cannot help but feel that Grandma is torn between the daughter she always gave the benefit of the doubt to and the granddaughter she always believed in.

This whole case just is heartbreaking. I want so badly to believe that beautiful little girl is alive and safe somewhere but the cadaver dogs hitting on 2 spots is what makes me believe that isn't likely. I do feel she is dead and by her own psychotic mother's hand. I hope that DNA settles it so that precious child can at least have all of the strangers that seem more concerned than her own family to mourn over her and remember her. I know that I will very, very likely shed a few tears if they do finally have evidence of her death. It's just so sad and senseless. My little girl is only 3 months older than Caylee and I just can't imagine. :(

I still hope every day that she is found alive but my hope has diminished so much and I am just waiting to see what the DNA from the car reveals and I am not too hopeful about that.

My DH is friends with a Detective on this case and they went out last night. From what he tells my DH, they know a lot more than they are letting on and pretty much know exactly what happened, even an idea where the body is but just can't locate it at this point. He told my DH a lot of stuff but like I told my DH, you never know, take it for what it's worth.

The best theory I've heard, and I heard it on this thread, is that the baby was strapped in a carseat while mama was partying, and she came back to find her dead. I just wish there would be some closure here.

That is what I am hearing from a lot of people as well.

I've thought this all along too.

The police must already have figured out that the baby is dead. For some reason, they are taking their time to release the DNA results.

The latest is the Apartment complex where Casey claims to have dropped the child off at on June 15th is now saying that they have gone through the visitor cards that people fill out when they come tour apartments.
On June 17th a woman came into the complex and signed the visitor card as a Zenaida Gonzalez and was shown the model apartment.
What is interesting is the name on the card as well as the fact that the model apartment is directly below #210 which is the apartment that Casey claims belonged to this so called babysitter with the same name that the cops can't seem to find.
Also, the phone number that is written on the card is a number that was disconnected on June 25th. And the visitor wrote the date very messy. The police think there is something to all of this.

It's just a matter of time now before the jig is up on this chick.

Now this is very interesting. I know around here when you tour an apartment in a complex, you have to leave your ID and they make a copy.

I've said this....plus I think she used the month to hide her trail. I also think she moved the body. I can't even imagine the kind of person you'd have to be to bury your daughter you've killed, then move the body.

The whole family smells like rotten pizza to me :stir:

:rotfl:

Last night I watched PART of the Greta Van Susteren show but I couldn't bear to watch much more. I can smell a liar and a denier from 3 blocks away and these two are both.:sad2:

I cannot beLIEVE the only person who spoke an iota of sense was Mark Fuhrman..... (remember him from the OJ trial)... he out and out said what most of us are thinking!

FUHRMAN: Well, lookit, does anything make any sense? I’m just — I’m shocked at the lack of relevant information from this entire family. We have a lot of belief and a lot of intuition and, I stand behind. But as far as evidence, Casey holds something very dear to her right now, either the information that she was involved or the information that somebody else was involved or a third party.

And what she’s doing is, is she has completely removed herself from any normal emotion of a mother missing a child, and that is the most disturbing part for me.

VAN SUSTEREN: And of course, the police or the investigators need this information desperately.

FUHRMAN: They need it desperately, and if she’s the only one that can provide it, if she doesn’t provide it, then she is actually either the suspect or an accessory after the fact to the abduction and/or death of her own daughter.

The Florida State's Attorney office filed formal criminal charges Tuesday against the mother of missing Orlando toddler Caylee Anthony.

Casey Marie Anthony, 22, was charged with one felony and one misdemeanor offense, in addition to the child neglect charge she already faced. She will be arraigned on the criminal charges.

Also Tuesday, test results from DNA samples taken from a car driven by Anthony came in and were turned over to investigators.

The evidence was gathered from the trunk of a vehicle that Anthony was using when her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony vanished in mid-June.

Other DNA samples were taken from the backyard of Anthony's parents' house, where she lived with her little daughter until about the time the girl disappeared. It took Casey Anthony more than a month to report the child missing, which she did on July 15. Caylee was last seen on or around June 15.

Detectives reported smelling a strong odor of human decomposition in the car trunk after cadaver dogs led them there. They said they also found hair samples similar to those of Caylee Marie Anthony.

Authorities from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement were analyzing the DNA results, but the media was told Monday that they won't necessarily be guaranteed immediate access to the data.

Orange County Sheriff's Office spokesman Carlos Padilla said police will decide what results to release and when.

Cindy Anthony had planned an early afternoon visit Tuesday with her daughter in prison, but it was canceled — she said out of concern for safety of her granddaughter.

"I feel that it is safer for my granddaughter that I don’t go," Cindy Anthony told reporters Tuesday. "It is a taped interview. ... It is very hard not to see my daughter."

At one point, she lashed out at reporters, saying she tended to be too trusting and she had been "burned by all of you." Her husband and Casey's father George Anthony visited his daughter on Sunday.

Casey Anthony remains jailed on a $500,000 bond, charged only with child neglect, false statements to police and obstructing an investigation. She is considered a person of interest in the case. She claims that Caylee was taken by a babysitter, who also vanished.

Anthony's brother, Lee, told FOX News on Tuesday that the Anthonys were deliberately withholding the name of Caylee's deceased dad, since he and his family were never told he had fathered the little girl.

"We will never release the name of that person or his family out of respect for that family," Lee Anthony said. "The family was never aware that he was the father."

He also denied reports that he and his sister had been talking in code during jailhouse phone calls.

"We don't have code names or anything like that," Lee Anthony said. "We have no reason to … that sounds like someone playing games and we’re not doing that.”

Caylee's mom has promised that her little girl would be home by her third birthday on Aug. 9.

Police say that little Casey Anthony has told them has proven to be true. Her friends have described her as a "habitual liar."

I wonder if the police have considered bringing in a psychic, someone like Sylvia Brown - she has worked on many cases in the past. :confused3

Controversy Over Gas Cans, Brother May Skip Jail Visit

POSTED: 6:44 am EDT August 6, 2008
UPDATED: 12:26 pm EDT August 6, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- There was new controversy over gas cans and the fingerprints on them on the same day Eyewitness News learned Lee Anthony may skip a scheduled visit with his jailed sister.

MESSAGE BOARD: Talk About Anthony Case, Search For Caylee
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The search for Caylee is now in its 22nd day and her grandmother now claims the gas cans that investigators took from their house contained fingerprints that were not Casey's. That came after admitting on national TV that Casey is the one who stole them.

Caylee's grandmother spent quite a bit of time criticizing sheriff's investigators Wednesday morning while also advancing the theory someone kidnapped Caylee.

When investigators took gas cans from Caylee Anthony's grandparent's home, Cindy Anthony said it was not because Caylee's mom Casey took them or because they were in the trunk of Casey's car.

"Previously, she had used the gas cans. There's other people's fingerprints on there besides us and that's what they're looking at," Cindy said Wednesday morning.

Caylee's grandmother then took aim at investigators search for the 2-year-old, saying they are talking out of two sides of their mouth when they say they are looking for Caylee while trying to build a case against Casey.

"They haven't proven anything that Caylee's been in the back of the trunk and, until they do and they bring me proof, Caylee is alive," she said.

Cindy then floated the theory of kidnappers taking Caylee, but wouldn't say whether the FBI was investigating it as a kidnapping. She did say, no matter what, she wants justice served.

"If that pints the finger to my daughter and they have concrete proof and not circumstantial evidence, I'll be the first one to say she needs to be where she's at," Cindy said.

A sheriff's spokesperson told Eyewitness News he understands Cindy's frustration, but the focus is still on finding Caylee. The sheriff's office also said that an emailed extortion letter the Anthony's received came from Thailand and was not considered a viable threat.

Meanwhile, Saturday, August 9 is Caylee's 3rd birthday. Cindy said her family will have a private get-together, but that a birthday party will take place when "Caylee comes home."

Cindy's comments Wednesday on the gas cans comes after her husband George Anthony admitted in a national interview on FOX News Channel that his daughter Casey was responsible for stealing them. Eyewitness News first reported Friday when investigators removed the cans from the family's home in brown bags.

"As she opened up the trunk of the car," George said during the FOX interview.

"The gas cans were there," Cindy added.

"Guess what, I had the gas cans there, she's the one that took the gas cans," George said.

LEE ANTHONY MAY SKIP JAIL VISIT WITH CASEY

Casey's brother Lee Anthony is scheduled to visit her Thursday, but there is a chance he may not show up. Cindy Anthony told Eyewitness News that Lee may follow in her footsteps and skip the jail visit because of all of the media attention. She said they have a lot they want to say to Casey, but they know their conversations could be made public.

"We all can figure out that Lee's one kind of one of those detectives on his own. We talked about that. It's very hard for us not to play that role. So we just figure we better be careful about what we're doing," Cindy said.

Cindy said she's now asking any private questions through Casey's attorney. She said they'll decide Wednesday night if Lee will visit Casey on Thursday.

Eyewitness News tried to talk to Casey Anthony's attorney Jose Baez about the charges filed against her Tuesday, but his doors were closed to the media. An assistant told Eyewitness News he won't comment on the charges until he receives those documents from the State Attorney's Office. Eyewitness News offered to provide them, but she didn't want them.

FORMAL CHARGES FILED, CINDY IS A NO-SHOW

It was an intense day in the Caylee Anthony case Tuesday as criminal charges were filed against Casey, her father carted bags of stuffed animals to the curb and her mother refused to see Casey in jail.

There appears to be a growing rift in the Anthony family and it may be because Casey isn't talking. Her father's asked her point-blank, her brother asked her to write him a letter, but so far, she has said nothing substantial about what happened to Caylee.

In the most shocking development yet, Cindy Anthony decided to abandon her visit to see Casey in jail Tuesday, because she felt it would hurt her chances to find Caylee.

"If I have to choose between Casey and Caylee, I'm going to choose Caylee right now, because she doesn't have anyone fighting for her," Cindy Anthony said Tuesday afternoon.

When she walked out of her house Tuesday, she told Eyewitness News she cancelled the visitation because she had something private she needed to discuss with Casey, but all her jail visits are public record.

"I cried, because I wanted to see her and I can't. I cry every day for Caylee," Cindy said.

It was an emotional day for Cindy Anthony, the grandmother of missing 2-year-old Caylee. Early Tuesday morning, she left her home without explanation and then Tuesday afternoon, while Casey Anthony waited in jail, Cindy decided not to show up for her scheduled visit.

"I couldn't sleep last night. I had all these mixed emotions, should I go, shouldn't I go," she said.

Last week, a friend decided to cancel his jail visit because of concerns about media scrutiny. But Tuesday, Casey's mom was the first family member to skip out on a visit. She walked out of her home Tuesday and cited similar reasons for not showing up, saying she was afraid whatever she said about Caylee could be made public and put her life in jeopardy.

"It's all about Caylee and her safety," she said.

But Cindy Anthony's rollercoaster ride didn't end there. She reacted Tuesday afternoon to the State Attorney's Office filing official charges against her daughter, calling it a victory, thankful her daughter wasn't charged with anything more than child neglect.

"I think, if they would have had anything concrete, I think they would have used that today," she said.

Cindy said whatever she planned to talk to Casey about Tuesday, she passed to her attorney who will meet with her privately in jail.

The Anthony family was also seen throwing out a number of stuffed animals, Tuesday, but Lee Anthony said they were toys that had been donated to the family during the ordeal and none belonged to Caylee.

"We don't want to make it sound like were not thankful for all the stuff, because we are, it was something we tried but could not put to use," Lee said.

Lee also said they considered donating them, but they were in poor condition.

I'm watching Fox and it looks like CSI is at the Anthony's house again.

They did mention the apartment visitor card on the 17th, the day after the Anthony family last saw Caylee. Now I'm wondering if there really is a Zenaida (sp?) that said she lived there, had Casey meet her there to take Caylee and then took off with her. Hmmm

This is stupid IMO. Maybe if they told the family (yes, it would be traumatizing for them and I'm sorry), but maybe the fathers family (I understand he's passed away) would get out and start looking for Casey.

I have wondered if she ever knew for sure who the father was... With the type of lifestyle that Casey had then she surely needed some type of incoming money since she didn't have steady employment. A child can mean either child support if the father is alive OR a social security check once the father is deceased. I can't imagine she wouldn't cash in on this if indeed she knew who the father of this precious child really was.

GREAT points.
