It will be very hard, if not impossible, to convict Casey without a body. All she has to do is stick to her story, and if the police cannot find that poor baby, she will more than likely get off any serious charges. If there are no witnesses and no evidence, they can't prove a crime happened. This is just so sad and my heart breaks for that poor little girl.

I don't know Florida laws but a high profile case in Ohio in I believe 97, Vincent Doan was convicted for murder in the death of Carrie Culberson. Her body was never found. I hope they can do the same with this monster and convict her. This is heartbreaking and i just keep praying for a miracle.

Has Casey given a description of this 'babysitter'? Or said where she dropped the kid off? Wouldnt there be some trace of Caylee at the babysitters house???

She gave them an address of an apartment that has been empty for several months. She also took them to a sr apartment or assisted living center claiming that the babysiters mother lived there.

So according to that the Casey's parents thought she still worked at USO, although she was fired 2 yrs ago. That just helps my suspicions that she has been dealing drugs or working as a prostitute. I wonder if the ex fiancee thought she worked at USO also

I think the police have been WAAAAAAAY to nice to her up until this point.

If I was the D.A., I'd charge her w/murder and threaten to throw away the key. Make sure I'd talk up how her prison mates LOVE to torture those that hurt children.

Scare her into talking. Right now treating her w/kid gloves isn't cutting it. This has gone on long enough. Why is she even being allowed to talk to her family? Is that the norm?

Exactly. TV shows make it all nice and pretty and wrapped up in an hour.

Real life is just not like this. More so with high profile cases like this where you have to nail it all 100% on the first shot. So you have to have every angle covered before they make any arrests

Reverse psycology Maybe the police feel that if they act as if they believe her, she will let her guard down and give up some important information.
Maybe there playing good cop bad cop - there just waiting to bring in the bad cop? Don't know, don't care - I just want this woman to fry! I know in my gut she did something, just trying to figure out how involved the grandmother is.

Here is my question - Why is he referred to as her 'ex-fiance' on this date (June 24), whereas in earlier reports they call him the 'boyfriend' (Anthony - Tony)? June 14.

Reports have stated that her boyfriend is an ex-cop.

Just a small detail, but were they engaged sometime between June 14 and June 24?

I'm getting confused with all the exes - even the supposed father of Kaylee who was killed in a car accident is probably a lie, the grandmother said she had never met him and that is what Casey told her.

Did this jump out at you too in the timeline:

Mid-June – Casey allegedly borrows a shovel from a neighbor.

June 24 - Casey's ex-fiancé calls her in the afternoon to tell her he has resigned from the Orlando Police Department. He later tells deputies that he heard Casey reprimand Caylee for climbing on a table. He also claims he heard the young girl's voice in the background.

Then on that same day:

George Anthony calls the Orange County Sheriff's Office and reports that someone broke into his storage shed and stole 2 gas cans with about $50.00 worth of gas in them.

Hmmmm getting rid of evidence? Strange timing to me. He says he resigned for "personal reasons" - wonder if he knows MUCH more than he has come forward with.

And just now on the noon local news a guy in jail with Casey says that he asked her where the baby is and she told him she is with the ex-boyfriend! Her story changes hourly...

Since we know Casey did not work at Universal Studios as she claimed, what has she been up to all this time? Surely her friends know more about her - maybe they have already talked to the detectives.

Me either, I would be beside myself if my DD was missing. I certainly wouldn't be out partying. Fox news just posted photos of her at the club and she's throwing up gang signals in the pictures. What a piece of trash. (Yes, I already have her convicted, in my head anyways)

I think most people have her convicted. And even if this little girl turns up alive, she doesnt deserve to be a mother. It blows my mind that there are so many people out there that would love to have kids and cant... and this woman has a beautiful little girl and cant even tell the truth for 5 seconds on how to find her.
At some point someone has to crack and say something.
