Since the air tests revealed a decomposing body in the trunk, Cindy Anthony has a new theory:
"Whatever it was, something decomposing in there, maybe someone put a body in the car after it was towed to the tow yard," Cindy Anthony said.

Apparently, she recently talked to the impound guy who said her car smelled like one where a suicide victim had died in. According to Cindy, he told her that he didn't notice the smell until one week after the car was towed in......
I knew she/the Anthony family was still going to run with the kidnapper theory......
If you ask me, that's the entire problem here -- Cindy has always coddled Casey, always bailed her out of trouble, believed her web of lies -- never made her accept responsibility for her actions. And now, now that Casey is on the top of a short list of suspects in Caylee's (disappearance) murder, she is in "protection mode" and still refuses to shake the truth out of that lousy, excuse for a mother. Washing evidence, changing testimony, witness-tampering, I swear, I'm starting to believe Cindy should be charged as an assessory after the fact. Who's looking out for precious Caylee???? You'd think if Cindy couldn't save her, she'd at least want her home for a proper burial, for some kind of closure, and would put the fear of God into that woman, until she told LE where to find the body.
This case makes me so sad, and the family (except Lee to a degree) makes me so angry!!!!!!!

I hope she one day knows and understands that she had a part in her grandaughter's death. She (Cindy) is a horrible mother that raised an awful, horrible daughter. She raised Casey to feel that she could get a way with murder.

And she very well may do just that

What????? Yeah, okay, let's stuff a body in there for two days until somebody comes to pick up the car. Does she realize what a coincidence that would be that it just so happened to be the car that would later be tied to a missing child case.

In my gut I feel they have known from the beginning and this all has been a smoke screen. The one thing that struck me as very odd from the very beginning is the fact that "they, the family" are not out there actively involved in the search. Vigil's etc. are all good but I haven't even seen it reported that they have a volunteer center organized for searches. Rather groups of people in the community have pulled together on their own and of their own time to look for this little girl.

9:05 a.m., Friday: Officials at the Orange County State Attorney's Office said they're planning a 10:30 a.m. news conference about the Caylee Anthony investigation. Authorities said they'll explain why Casey Anthony, Caylee's mother, should seriously consider taking a limited immunity deal being offered by prosecutors. 9:10 a.m., Friday: Bounty hunter Doug Padilla said this morning he plans to take Casey Anthony back to jail on Saturday. I can only imagine the horror of thinking that....

She's so much in denial because she is refusing to believe that.. now I get it.

What I don't get is how you can protect ANYONE who hurt your grandchild. I became an aunt at 10 and KNEW my parents would stomp me where I stood if I ever hurt their precious grandchildren. But I felt the same way as their aunt... total love and protection.... I don't get that woman at all.

This case is so convoluted but so obvious. It will definitely be showcased on truTV, I can see it on Forensic Files or the Investigators for sure. If you watch these shows you'll note that it takes YEARS for these cases to be concluded. I do have faith that it will, though. The prosecutors just need enough evidence to convict... and the minute they do, they will.

I have to agree -- confessing the truth would be so out of character for such a narcisstic human being as Casey -- sadly, I think she will be another Scott Peterson (her mom sure seems a lot like his parents), and will go to meet her maker still professing her innocence. Still, I'd sure like her to prove me wrong and tell LE where to find that baby.

Tim Miller is an amazing man whose heart is indeed in the right place. His organization is usually in the red and he makes NO money from his efforts to find missing people.......and often that means finding bodies, and not actual people. He does this in honor of his murdered child. He is NOT doing this to help the Anthonys, but for Caylee. If anyone finds that child's body, I do hope it is his organization, so that they receive the reward and can thus fund future searches for other missing indivuduals.

Casey Anthony has done what every murderer should do. If you leave a body to decompose long enough....the longer the better.....the more evidence disappears. If anything is ever found, it will hard to prove MURDER. For heaven's sake, Robert Durst admitted killing a man, hacking up his body and tossing it into the ocean......but claims he acted in self defense............and got off! Why? THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE TO THE CONTRARY! Well, the fact that the head never turned up kind of helped. And a dead man can't really tell his side of the story. Certainly Caylee can't tell hers. For that matter, a terribly decomposed body won't tell you much either. Proving it was anything other than an "accident" just won't be that easy, even if common sense tells us she's lying like a rug.

A lynch mob is looking better by the second. She has no conscience and I have no sympathy. Those aiding and abetting parents of hers are no better.

I followed the case when I was in FLA but it is so much harder now that I am home and there is limited coverage. Maybe this has already been asked but what do you all think the immunity involves....a promise of no death penalty?? I have not heard what the deal might be and I cannot believe it has not been leaked somewhere.
As to the brownies well if they come from Casey then I would be afraid she hid evidence in them and fed them to people just like an old Alfred Hitchcock episode so it could not be found. Far fetched? Nothing is far fetched in this case.

The only one that could probably get any info out of Casey, completely believes her. Cindy doesnt want to know where the body is, cause there 'isnt one'.
I am startign to wonder the familys involvement now myself. I dont doubt that Cindy didnt love her granddaughter, but as someone else has pointed out, there has been no looking and all that. More or less just defending Casey. And a mom whose child accidentally died, would have some remorse. That twisted woman may as well admit guilt, she doesnt act like a grieving mom at all. Atleast Patsy Ramsey cried for the cameras and made pleas for help... and she was charged with murder from the get go.

Hopefully if Casey is so self centered than she thinks of herself and takes the immunity.

OMG -
Just 2 hours after he gave a press conference saying that he plans to revoke her bond Padilla does a 180 and decides he is no longer going to revoke Casey's bond -- WHAT??? Does he know something we don't? I had heard that if he revoked her bond, he was out his $50,000 --- is it possible that he's gotten word that there's a murder charge around the corner and she'll be put back in jail anyway, and he'll get his money back anyway??

This case gets more confusing every minute.......
