It wouldn't surprise me at all if what Greta said turns out to be true.

My mom's friend just passed away (75 y/o) and she had grown children that constantly lied to her; usually for money. She would bail them out of jail, pay their utilities bills, wire them money constantly and went so far as to put a house in her name for one of them. They would always claim that they were working and would pay her back soon but she never saw a single penny. One totaled her car twice after drinking but it was never his fault, of course. The stories I could tell. :scared1: Every single person recognized that these adult kids were scum bag liars except the mom. It was so blatantly obvious that it was painful to all of us but she just couldn't see what any of us would tell her. She was under the care of a psychologist who would tell her every time that she was enabling them but she just couldn't seem to believe this. While I can't believe anyone could be so gullible, it does happen and Cindy strikes me as that type of person.

That story is so sad. It makes me so sad to think that your mom's friend lived that way her whole life. :guilty:

I totally agree with you, and I hope that Cindy comes to this realization also.

Yes, the whole thing is so sad. Not defending in her in any way but looking at the video, she was being bombarded by the media. I just think the lawyer was keeping her close for her own safety. Goodness knows how many angry people were in that crowd. Her lawyer reported that she whispered in his ear "I am innocent". :confused3

I agree, at first glance it does look like an 'off' embrace between lawyer and client. However, after a second look at that video, it did look like she was whispering something in his ear and that he was listening to whatever it was that she said.

Interestingly, the report that I saw said that she said "I am innocent - I want to walk out of here with my head held high," or something along those lines. Now, either her lawyer didn't listen to her or he didn't believe her, and he still insisted on hiding her and poking her with that stupid umbrella until they got in their getaway vehicle. :scratchin

Speaking of the stupid umbrella...did anyone else notice that it said 'Lexis Publishing' on it?

Hmmm, it makes me wonder if Baez (or whatever her lawyers name is) already has a deal in the works for a book about this case???

I tell you Cindy ( the grandma )is so gullable. I just seen Cindys brother talking on another site and he said that they didnt even know that Casy was even pregnant untile she was eight months pregnant. She told her mom, " you half to have sex to get pregnant and I dont do that" WELL, Something happened. Cindy just believes anything her daughter tells them. Havnt they learned anything by now. HELLO

Ok, someone help me. What is the Greta show and when is it on? Ive been watching the Nancy Grace show but they are all repeats.
I seen this guy named Rick on the other site. He seems to be Cindys brother, looks legit. Anyways he isnt spilling a lot but the part about Cindy (her mom )believing everything that she ( Casey) saise no matter what is about right. I see that. I just hope the poor girl is alive but It doesnt look good .

Greta's show is called On the Record with Greta Van Sustren and is on FOX at 10pm weeknights. Channel 360 if you have DirectTV.
It airs again at 1 am EST

I don't know if you get Orlando TV stations living in Cocoa, but I have found that local6 gives the best coverage. Then channel 9 Eyewitness news.
With the storm all last week, the coverage was spotty at best.
The family was supposedly having a vigil at 8:30 tonight.

It will be interesting to see if maybe Casey was in the driveway with her parents or maybe in the house eating a cheeseburger and painting her nails?

Keep the updates coming I will be away from the tv for a couple day at night so I won't be able to watch Nancy

I really want to hear more about the vigil, this is the first time I have heard about it Thanks christmaself :thumbsup2

Just got done watching the 11pm news. Let me sum it up for those that missed it: :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Seriously, these people are whack jobs. Cindy now is convinced that Casey hasn't done ANYTHING wrong and she can hold her head up high. Yet, she didn't offer any explanation on where the child could be.

In the meantime, bounty hunter guy has given the people that are holding Caylee 5 days to turn her over or he is coming for them! :lmao:

He claims Casey gave Caylee to friends to spite her mom (who, of course, feels Casey hasn't done anything wrong) and told the friends that, no matter what, they can not turn Caylee in. If this were true (big IF here) why the heck wouldn't Casey just call her "friends" and tell them the jig is up? Doesn't make sense that she will let this go on another five days.

Thanks, yea we do get the orlando channels. We are less the a hour away. That is where alot of them come from. We have cable. Thanks again.:yay:

Thanks for the update.

The whole thing is just so puzzling. :confused3

Despite all of Casey's ramblings a few things just won't let me believe that child is alive.

*The cadaver dogs hit on the spot in the yard and the trunk of the car.
*Casey borrowing a neighbor's shovel.
*Casey partying while her daughter is missing.

Sorry but the only mystery here is where is the body. :sad2:

How long can Casey keep up this farce? The whole tale is just ridiculous.

No way I believe this...no way would anyone keep this little girl, with all the attention this case is getting...they would have turned her in immediately, saying uh, sorry, Casey put me up to it! Unbelievable!

I so agree! There is no one, in their right mind, that would hold onto her all this time, with all the buzz about it and not do anything. I can't see that anyone is that crazy to continue to hold her.

I really hope Casey's brother Lee is able to get her to talk. He seems to be the only in the family who has a lick of sense. I haven't him seen him talking to the media at all lately, if he believes Casey like George and Cindy do, he'd be out talking about it like they are. And when he was talking to Casey in jail you could tell he was really trying to get at the truth.

I don't know about the Rick person, but he seems to know an awful lot about the family.

And this is driving me crazy....in reading the links from the other boards about Rick, they keep referring to I think a newsperson "LE" ... I know NG is Nancy Grace of course and GS is Greta, but who in the heck is LE?

LE=law enforcement

I go on the court tv forum...it's okay...a lot of arguing goes on there though.

Oh! DUH!!!!!!!! In my defense though, I really thought they were talking about a news show person.

Yes, new reality TV show. Location? The Anthony's driveway.

You never know what you'll see or hear. You might even get squirted with the hose. Pizza for all. Bring your Tums. The one thing you won't see? Caylee?

There were two times for 5 seconds each in July that I entertained the thought that Caylee might be alive. I have been convinced since day 1. she is not alive. Except for those 10 seconds, my beliefs have never changed. Like the other poster said: the dogs, the shovel, the smell, and also backing up the car on the driveway, which the neighbor said, he/she never saw Casey do that. So many other signs, but those are the main ones.

That entire family is playing the world as fools. I feel like we're caught in a spin off of the Emporer's New Clothes. DOESN'T EVERYONE ELSE SEE HER FOR WHAT SHE IS?

Nothing would make me happier than if Len baby put Casey back in the slammer. Oh, Len is also on websleuths now.

I just cant believe that cindy and George believes everything that Casey saise. How many times has she lied to them and they just go back and believe it again. Suckers.

I have a problem with a couple of things.

After 2 months of no one seeing the child, we are now supposed to believe that Casey has supposedly given the baby to her "friends" to make Cindy upset? Are these the same friends that called Casey in jail begging her to tell where the child is? The same friends that went on Greta and were shocked that Casey was living in his apartment and saying she was going to a supposed job at Universal and dropping her daughter off at night with the Grandparents and then going out at night to party it up in "Hot Body" contests?
The same friends that Casey stole money from and borrowed their car without permission when friend was in Puerto Rico?

For 36 days, Casey sat in jail after telling police that she worked at Universal, dropped baby at an apartment that turned out to be vacant, stole money from her own disabled Grandfather, robbed her parents of money and goods from their home, stole gas and her mother's car, stole money from friends, lied about her whereabouts, the list goes on.and on. and on. This girl has been a known liar for years.'

Yet we should all believe this new story that the baby is hiding out with Casey's friends that are too scared to come forward. :sad2:

Another thing that really bothers me is a comment that George Anthony said. George Anthony, former police detective said: The results of the stain in the trunk will come back 'inconclusive' since there was a bottle of cleaning fluid in the trunk for 15 days.
Only the day before he was telling cops and the media that Casey refused him permission to look in her car trunk, that she would get whatever he needed.
It was George Anthony that drove that car back home from the impound yard. Surprising that he was able to start a car that had supposedly run out of gas. Yet he drove it all the way home without stopping to buy any additional gasoline. Hmmmmm.
George Anthony former detective came home and told his wife Cindy to wash the clothes that are in the backseat of the car.
Why would anyone that was questioning where their missing Granddaughter was do these things??????

The only reason I can think of, is in every effort to keep their daughter Casey out of jail for murder.
