Again, Im not following this closely. I never seem to see it on the news here, so my best source is you guys here. I have always heard how "baby killers" get killed in jail. Is this true? I almost feel like from the bits and pieces Im catching, with this chick partying and what-not, someone just might be PO'd enough to take her out.

They might not get killed, but they can have some serious problems. Trouble is they kept her in isolation and she is now out on bail and enjoying herself with her family.

I should have added - if they had a dna match, they would have kept her in jail - at least that is what the jist of the conversation was. I think.

Local6 as well as Nancy Grace is reporting that the DNA tests are not completed yet. What could be taking so long?

Channel 9 news in an upcoming teaser, says that the family is being harrassed by the public tonight. Poor things.

2 pizzas have been delivered as a prank by someone that called Pizza Hut. The family refused the delivery.
Her lawyer is on now claiming that Casey thinks the baby will be home this week by the mysterious people that are holding her.

If thats true, why did they let her out? Why didn't they charge her with whatever "more" they have??? I'm sad to say, I don't think they know any more.

Since there is no body and may never be, I think the police are trying to make sure that the circumstanial evidence they have is as close to rock solid as they can get. If they rush to charge her and are not 100% ready to go to trial in 190 days, the charges must be dismissed and she CANNOT be re-charged with those same charges (double jeopardy) Also, once she is charged, they have to show their cards to her lawyer and the longer they can avoid that, the better. So I do believe the police know alot more than they are saying, but are trying to make damn sure "reasonable doubt" never crosses a jury's mind.

I hope your right - this is just making me sick to my stomach. I wish I could be a fly on the wall at that house right now. I'll bet everything I have that she doesn't want to be there, and would rather be in jail - at least that way she can refuse to talk to anyone - at home she has no choice.
And on NG last night, that trashy bounty hunter was on - he said that her lawyer told him that hes not allowed to ask her any questions for a week, and he agreed. First off, why cant he ask questions for a week, and #2, why would he agree to that??? I just hope a bomb goes off in that house - put the whole family out of their missery.

You know, I dont like Casey getting out either. Its just not fair. But I think that bounty hunter is holding back cause he cant say really what he is planning. Hey, Casey can watch all of this on tv too. She will hear everything thats being said. I just think he is playing her. It might make her think he is on her side.
