We recently canceled our trip when DH was hospitalized. It has been a long Minnesota winter and a cold spring and we were disappointed. DH is home and doing well but can't fly for a while and he said I should try to book a trip on my own!
Back when life was simpler I said "No more studios" and "No more summer trips." Never say never because I am thrilled to be going in June and staying in an SSR studio! Funny how the bumps along the road of life can change your expectations and priorities!
I am thrilled to be staying at SSR, though I am a BWV girl. Downtown Disney will give me lots of counter service options. I am just not that comfortable eating table service as a solo traveler.
I am taking Magical Express. We always have a car so we can take DH's scooter to MK without riding a bus, but this time I am only renting a car one day to go to church and maybe do some shopping at the outlets. I think ME will be perfect for me this time.
I segmented my reservation to do QSDP for the first night, just to try it out. We usually use TIW, not dining plans, but TIW isn't so useful this trip when I won't be doing much table service.
I am eating at Fulton's for the first time in many years and will finally be meeting in person one of my very, very favorite DISers! WOOHOO!
I have booked Keys to the Kingdom, which I have always wanted to do but we have worried that it might be too long a tour for DH. I am SO excited about this!
Please, please, let this trip happen!

Sure hope it goes well for you. DH and I are also at a point in our lives when health has begun to impact our plans. It's tough when it gets in the way of longterm WDW plans.
Sending lots pixie dust your way

hope you're able to enjoy yourself, sounds as though you certainly need a break.
ixiedust:. I hope and pray your DH will continue to improve and you have a WONDERFUL time in WDW
