So that is like $300 a night for a family of four for an all inclusive trip? Room, Food, and Tickets - I think it sounds pretty good.

I had a quote for $1250 for seven people for 4 nights.

4 adults, 3 children at Pop.

We have some of our tickets, so these were only 1 day tickets quoted. Worked out to be $178 per person for the whole trip. We would have to upgrade two of the tickets from one day to three so that would up our total by about $200.

$178x5=890.00 + $200 = $1,090.00 for us - about $215 per person for the whole trip or about $55 per day per person. I thought that was pretty good. Yours would be about $75 per day per person and you are at a mod.

Sounds good to me! But I'm not very good at Disney Math! Very similar to Fuzzy Math, I hear!

It's not that it doens't sound like a good deal, it's just it's very comparitive to what we paid in December and we paid for dining plan. Don't forget that Megan is free. I'm not good w/ Disney math either.

So I got my quote and honestly I'm not that impressed! I requested 1 room at Port Orleans Riverside for 2 adults, 6 yr old and 2 yr old. Free dining, 5 day non hopper tickets, for 5 nights. They quoted $1490. Sounds ok, but our December trip was $2400 for 3 adults, 6 nights, 7 day hopper, and we paid for dining. We had a code, but I was code illiterate at the time and have no idea what it was for! Just curious of your thoughts. Not that we're going!

Have you already spent your tax rebate that should be coming between May and September?? Yours should probably be $1800.00.....

I think that refund is going to pay off my Kohl's bill, pay for Dave's rafting trip and pay for my December trip. We'll just stick to trying to go back next year.

My friend gave me one last year that plays "Girls Night Out" by the Judds. I love those cards! Megan kept saying "Pan! Pan!" I've definitely got her brainwashed!

Yes - I can still pick you up and drop you off at the airport - you'll know my car by the Christmas tree strapped to the top!

I will have to bring Sam to school on Thursday morning and could be in Orlando as early as 11 am. So, any time from 11 on will work for me. As far as departure it doesn't matter as long as I get home sometime before Monday morning.

Thursday Dec 4:
-Arrival for most? Early/late afternoon?
-DTD for shopping and a snack
-Take a Bus to AKL to eat a late dinner (Is this OK, Sara? Check out the menu. It is very good and not weird food. If I can eat there anyone can!)
-Hang out at pool bar and maybe meet up with Jen

Friday Dec 5:
-TRY to get to AK as early as possible
-Early lunch at Pizzafari? Flaming Tree?
-Leave around 3:30?
-4:00 Grand Floridian Cafe (I haven't found what time lunch ends and dinner begins. Both menus look good, but dinner is more $$. I think dinner usually starts at 5, but I'm not sure)
-MK for the PARTY!!! Our schedule worked really well this past December. 7:00 Twas the Night show, leave show and go to Frontierland to watch the parade, then go to castle to see fireworks. Then we'll have 3 hours to ride rides, meet charcaters and there is a show in front of the castle. Oh, and drink lots of hot chocolate!

Saturday Dec 6:
-Bfast at Kona
-Epcot
-Lunch/Dinner? in Japan

Sunday Dec 7:
-Character Bfast at Cape May at Beach Club (Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale) It has a 92% approval rating on allears OR Superfragilistic breakfast at Grand Floridian (Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh and EEyore) Also has a 92% rating. O Hana's only has an 82% rating, and Kari said they didn't love it there. We're trying to do a resort bfast to accomodate everyone who may not be going to a park that day.
-??? Some people may be going to a park, some are going to explore Boardwalk.

Thanks Laura! I know exactly what you mean about the guilt, but I look at it this way. I've never left my children for more than 1 night, let alone go on a girl's trip! I deserve it! If we were going to Vegas would I feel guilty? NO, but I don't want to go to Vegas or New York. I prefer Disney. I feel better knowing we're doing many things that I wouldn't do w/ my kids. Grown up Disney stuff.

Yes, you can use them just for one way of your journey. I was seriouly lol at the thought of me waving to you from the bus.
