We are off to Florida in 2 weeks and yesterday we received all our documentation from Travel City. We had prebooked 10 day World tickets, but have only received vouchers which need to be exchanged at Guest Services. Our worry is that we have PS for the character breakfast at Cinderella's Castle for 8.50 on our very first morning. Are we going to have time to exchange our vouchers for tickets and get to the castle on time? Any hints as to how we can do this as quickly as possible would be really appreciated. What is the earliest time we can get there? This is our first time to Disney and we don't want to see 2 little girls in tears on that first morning ( not to mention their Dad!)

You should have plenty of time. I would try to arrive by about 7.30 at the ticket desks. You can sort your real tickets out there and even if that takes 30 minutes (which it won't - they are very efficient) you still have best part of an hour to get to MK on the monorail or ferry and walk up main street.
Alternatively - I don't know what time you get in the night before but you could pop down to guest relations at Downtown Disney. They will set you up with your real tickets there and then the morning of your breakfast you are straight in.

You should be able to exchange them at any Guest Relations window in WDW, so, even if there is a queue at the main ticket booths at the MK, just go straight to Guest Relations and they should be able to help. They will certainly be open by 8am, too.

Another option would be to do it at Guest Relations at Downtown Disney the night before. If you are staying within a few miles of Disney this might be the best option. If you do decide to do it on the morning of the breakfast then arrive as early as you can. Its fun to wander round the Magic Kingdom before it opens AND as its your first morning you will be up early due to the time difference.

Have fun! My little ones loved CRT!!

Where are you staying and how will you be travelling around? One thing you might not be aware of as this is your first trip, is that (assuming you are staying offsite and arriving by car) it takes a little longer to get to MK than to the other parks.

You will arrive in the parking lot of the Transportation and Ticket Center. From here you will either need to walk, or catch a trolley (depending on how far out you have to park) to the ticket booths. If you haven't already exchanged your vouchers at Downtown Disney, I suggest you do it here. From here you will need to get the monorail or ferry across to MK. If it's not too busy, I suggest going for the monorail. If a ferry is in, or about to dock, you may be quicker taking that. There won't be a huge deal in it either way, so don't fret too much about that one.

Once you alight you're there! You will have to pass through the security checkpoint (you might save a bit of time by making sure you don't have bags - you can then walk straight through without waiting in line) and the turnstiles and then it's just a short stroll up Main Street to the Castle.

The official opening time when you are there is 9am. As it's a busy time, they may well open earlier than the official time (maybe as early as 8am). Even if they don't, the TTC will be open long before that. You should aim to arrive at the Castle 15 minutes before your PS time (as they ask you to do for all PSs). If the park doesn't open until 9am, just tell them at the turnstile that you have a PS at 8.50am and they will let you in. As Allie says, you will all be awake at the crack of dawn on that first day, so I would aim to arrive at the TTC at around 7.30am.

if the park isn't opening until 9, then I think you have to go to the resort monorail and tell them you have a PS and they will let you go across early, the main monorail and the ferry might not be running yet.

We'll have the same problem, I didn't realise that we would receive vouchers instead of tickets.

where exactly is the Guest Relations in Downtown Disney.? What is it near?

Anyone know what time it close on a night?

This could be an option for the day we arrive.

Thank you for all your help.We are actually staying on International Drive so it is not really practical to visit Downtown Disney on our first evening. Is there anywhere closer that you can exchange vouchers for tickets?
