First I am sorry this happened to you. There are many people who can have access to your room besides housekeeping. This can be maintenance workers, bellhops, room service staff, they can all have pass keys and I would not assume it was a specific person unless you have some kind of evidence.
Unfortunately you should have gotten something in writing at least from security or the duty manager when you reported it, I assume you reported it right away when you noticed it was missing before you left the hotel. I am not sure what your motives/reasons are for including the specific names and phone numbers of the people you talked to in your original post?? What is the resolution you want, that you mention in your post? All they are required to do is conduct and investigation and probably fire someone if they can work out who stole the purse.
I would call back to security and/or investigations and inquire if the electronic key system on the hotel room doors record who goes in and out of the room. Most do and the pass keys are usually assigned to a specific person. So they should have a record of what persons key was used to access your room and the times. Then tell them that you are going to make a report to the police.
I would advise you to write to Lowes hotel management explaining the circumstances, specific dates and times, do not accuse anyone and see what response you get, again I am not sure what resolution you want but if you have one state it, but keep in mind they are probably not responsible for any payment or replacement unless the items were in the hotel safe. You still have the option of contacting the police just to report what is going on, that you tried to work with the hotel management, and to see what they advise.
