Hello

Just booked flights for mother-daughter trip to Orlando for Spring break (March). We will have 3 full days for parks. The main reason for this trip is Sea World which my dd (age 7) really wants to see. Do you think we should plan 2 days for Sea World? or is 1 day enough? I haven't decided what to do with the other days yet. We might do a water park (have never been to any of the ones at WDW or in Orlando). Or.. Maybe we should do Sea World for 1 1/2 days and spend the extra half day at the pool if it is warm enough (instead of a water park).

We could do one of the Disney parks one day (although we went to Disneyland last year for Spring Break).... or maybe Universal? My dd knows nothing about Harry Potter so that is of no interest to us. I'm not sure there are enough rides at Universal that she is able to do..

Suggestions?? :confused3

If you are going for spring break, then yes, I would suggest two days at Seaworld since spring break is more crowded than a regular non spring break day. Do you know which days in March you will be going? On certain days, Seaworld is opened until 10:00pm and these nights will feature night time only shows and fireworks. Since 9am until 10pm is such a long day, I would recommend splitting the two days you have available. Do day one from 9am until 3 or 4 maybe even 5pm. And do day two from 3pm until closing at 10. That way you can get the best of both day and night shows and they will be shorter days so you can enjoy more.

For a water park, how about Seaworlds water park, "Aquatica"? Aquatica is located right down the street from Seaworld. You can slide down a slide with dolphins swimming along side. Its a great place to enjoy a hot spring day. Especially if your daughter is into Seaworld.

Here are some special ticket offers you may be interested in for you trip. One package includes a Seaworld Aquatic combo ticket. However, I dont think you get a second day with Seaworld included. If you think you could do an all day at Seaworld, then an all day at Aquatica, then go for it! You will have the third day then for something else.

A couple questions first.
1. Have yoy ever been to Disneyworld?
2. Are you staying on Disney property or closer to SW?

DW is different than DL so it will be a new experience if you have never been here. Much larger and totally different experience.

March is early spring break this year since Easter is at the end of April so the parks won't be as busy as closer to Easter.
SW offers a 2nd day free on most of their tickets so you might want to check on that. If you haven't been to a Disney Water park I suggest Blizzard Beach because it has some good areas for kids your daughter's age. I would also suggest going in the morning and then heading for a 2nd day at SW if she loved the park the first day.

I've been to WDW several times and my dd has been once. I'm still looking for a place to stay - probably closer to SW since we will spend most of our time there. I had not considered Blizzard Beach - guess I was under the impression it was for older kids. DD can swim on her own but probably won't do any really large water slides/rides yet.

Our Spring Break is week of March 14. We will be at the parks Mon-Wed that week. I saw on SW site that the hours that week are 9-7pm. Do you think they will have the buy 1 get 2nd day free for March? That would be a great deal for us since I think we will do SW for 2 days (see it all and not have time for swim break). I've read mixed reviews on Aquatica so I'm not sure about that. I'm leaning towards paying a little extra for a hotel/resort with a really nice pool and saving 3rd day for something else (Magic Kingdom?)

Im pretty sure that they will have the buy 1 day get a 2nd day free in March. They have had this deal for quite some time. Keep looking at the Seaworld site for new 2011 deals that could possibly be released around New Years.

Do they ever have ticket deals that include Aquatica also?

I booked the Hilton Grand Vacation Suites at Sea World for our visit

Skin patrol area is geared toward kids not quite ready for the bigger slides. They have to be shorter than 48 inches tall. The water in some areas is 8 feet deep but the kids love it. There is "ice floating" that they can walk on , curvy slides, and there are rings they hang from and try to cross the water. My nieces love the area. They also love the family slide and the river is not as swift as aquaticas.

They have the 2 park ticket which is actually a good deal because it is a length of stay(14 days) so you can go everyday to either or both parks

Yes. The link I posted in my original post should have some aquatica ticket deals.
