I am trying to decide where to stay, its between the POFQ and CS. im going with 20 people (family not convention) ages 6-60 please help!:scared:

Besides theming, I can think of a few big differences between the 2 resorts. CSR has a large pool area, with a large pool slide. POFQ has a small pool area with a small slide. POFQ has only a food court, while CSR has both a food court and a sit down restaurant. POFQ is a relatively small resort, while CSR is large. CSR does have an internal shuttle service, just in case you end up out in the boonies. But at POFQ you can catch a boat to Downtown Disney, which is much faster than waiting for a bus.

Which resort are you leaning towards?

Right now im leaning towards POFQ just because i think it look beautiful! but because there isnt a resturant its tough, POFQ has a small pool but isnt it considered best next to only beach club? :rolleyes1 :woohoo:

Probably CSR, unless you prefer a small resort. With all the different ages, CSR has more to offer in the pool size, dining options area. I liked them both, though.

You can always take the short walk to POR and eat at Boatwrights, if you want a sit down meal. It is a lovely 10 minute walk down the "river".

The pool slide at POFQ is very small. In fact, I think the whole pool area has a very little-kiddy feeling to it. But that is just my opinion.

Can I ask why you didn't consider POR? It would have both the great pool area and a sit down restaurant.

Its not that we werent considering it, actually now that i think of it i have no idea why we ruled it out, thanks that may be a better plan, is CS or POR really crowded?:rotfl:

Both CSR and POR are fairly large resorts, with multiple bus stops. The busses at CSR tend to be less crowded, as a big portion of the guests are going to conventions, not to the parks. For me, I just prefer the greeness of POR over the desert feel of CSR. And Pianoman Bob Jackson is wonderful!

CSR and POR are both nice resorts, and I think you would be happy at either one of them.

southwest, not desert
