Hi Everyone! We are planning a Disney World trip right around Christmastime and I need some help with the ADR’s I have and other suggestions

Wednesday MK
12:25 The Plaza Restaurant
6:30pm They Crystal Palace

Thursday HS then AK
2:10 Tusker House (with Finding Nemo show package)
7:15 Hoop De Doo Review

Friday (Christmas Eve) – Epcot
Noon Biergarten (Lunch candlelight processional package with 5pm seating for show and IllumiNations reserved seating at 9:30pm)
6:50pm Chefs de France

Saturday (Christmas) - MK
6:55pm Liberty Tree Tavern

Sunday – AK then HS
Currently no reservations - Hoping to do Fantasmic dinner package but not sure if we should choose the Brown Derby or Hollywood and Vine (suggestions?)

Monday - Epcot or AK
12:10 Rose and Crown (not sure why I made this more as a just in case)
7:40pm Fultion’s Crab House (Downtown Disney)

Tuesday – location TBD
6:50pm Tony’s Town Square (again another ADR that I am not sure why I booked it! Just wanted to have something!)

So I would love feedback – here are some of my thoughts.
Both my BF and I have been to WDW before – but it’s been over ten years. First of all I am not sure if we should spend the WHOLE time at WDW or if we should take a day and go to Sea World too – in which case what parks are we giving too much time to and where should we carve out the time? OR because it’s right around Christmas will it be SO crowded we will want plenty of extra time?

Do you think it’s worth trying to fit Boma in? Where would you put it? Is it better than Fultons?

Any other places you think I should try to add? Is it worth trying to get a breakfast ADR somewhere (keeping in mind that we are going to try to do some of the touring plans that require us to attempt to race through the park first thing in the AM)?

Finally - I would REALLY love to have breakfast somewhere yummy on Christmas but at this point all the MK ADR's for breakfast are gone. Any suggestions for somewhere else? Would we be making a mistake if we go somewhere else - ie will the MK reach capacity early and not let in more guests?

Thanks Thanks Thanks for your thoughts!!!

I SO want to try Boma. Sadly, DH and the kiddos aren't into it, so I think it gets nixed again this trip. If I were able, I'd sure try to fit it in somehow! :thumbsup2

Fultons sounds fabulous, and yummy. I looked at the menu and was positively salivating...if only it were on the dining plan, I'd be all in for it. I simply just can't justify paying the amount of money that meal would cost unless we can do it solo (ie: sans kiddies!) and really enjoy the meal. ~sigh~ With the kids, it's a little too much "eat before they get restless" to really savor a meal like that.

We have had a great xmas morning breakfast at 1900PF twice..love the resort decorations and I think the breakfast food and choices are wonderful(lobster eggs benedict!). We do not go to a park on the holiday so we have eaten around 10:30 or so, eaten leisurely, visited the gingerbread house then hit DTD for a movie, shopping and then back to resort to relax and dinner at a nice resort resturant(CG, Artist Point). There is easy access to MK via monrail after you eat if you want to hit a park.

That breakfast does sound good - unfortunately it doesn't sound like there are any more ADR's available! :(

Anyone have a guess when the parks will fill up that day? how early do we REALLY have to get there?

Also reccomendations for yummy places to eat with quick and easy transportation into the MK?

Did you look for an early morning ADR at Kona?
It's close to MK and has TongaToast!

Or you could try for Grand Floridian Cafe - they have a nice breakfast menue - you could see the Gingerbread house and then hit MK!

Just booked both of them around 8:30am. That should give us enough time before the park fills up right???

Which do you think is better and easier to get to MK from?

First let me say I've never been on Christmas, we always go around Thanksgiving.

I can't imagine that the MK would close before 10:00am! You should be fine!

Both restaurants are very good - the GF is slightly closer to the MK. You could take the boat or monorail.:santa: Which ever you choose I'm sure you will have a magical day!

My family LOVES Boma! It's a must for us. However, many people compare Tusker House to Boma and say it's similar (and some even say they like TH better). That said, we are doing both on our Thanksgiving week trip. ;)

With regard to your as yet unbooked Fantasmic dining package, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but those usually book up 180 days out and there don't often seem to be cancellations.

Christmas week is said to be one of the busiest (if not THE busiest) times at WDW. You're definitely going to need the extra time to see everything you want to see, get there at rope drop at make use of FastPasses. Another thing to consider is how many days you purchased ParkHopper passes for. If you purchased them for all days of your stay, I'd probably skip Sea World this time around.

I see that you're planning to be at MK on Christmas. It will likely be wall to wall people. (Personally, I am avoiding MK on Thanksgiving Day.) As I understand it, even if the park is "full", guests at WDW resorts are not turned away. You didn't mention where you are staying, so that's why I'm mentioning this.

As for breakfast, my favorite WDW breakfast is Crystal Palace. Lots of interesting choices like the puffed french toast and breakfast lasagna. I'd keep trying for a late breakfast ADR there (10:15-10:30ish)
