Please Help Me Decide......

The fun of trying to plan the perfect Disney trip! Why can't I just make a decision and stick with it? We just returned from out first WDW trip in March and had so much fun, that as soon as I realized they were offering the free dining for Sept. we decided to book again for longer as we only stayed 4 nights our first trip... So when I originally called, I tried to get POR but there was no availability for the FD for our dates so I booked CSR, after overthinking that choice we switched to AKL pool view room. We made all of our ADR's and now I see that we can stay in a standard room at WL about the same price ($70 cheaper)... and also now there are rooms available at POR for our dates that have opened up! So here I go again, wondering if we should switch... I think I am between AKL pool view and WL standard view at this point...

We do not do hoppers as we like to just take a full day at each park and we only make our ADR's at either the park we are going to be at for the day or at our resort, so we do not travel to other resorts. We also do not go back to nap, but we do spend a decent amt of time at the resort... We will be going to Ak 1 day, HS 1 days, MK 1 full day and also another day for the MNSSHP. We will also be relying on disney transportation. We were at the Poly for our last trip and got a bit spoiled using the monorail.

Any helpful info would be much appreciated! Not really sure about best locations, or overall resort. I know many of you are seasoned Disney vacationers!

Having stayed at both, they are both awesome resorts and I think you would love either one . We love the MK area so we tend to lean more towards that location, but the AKL is a beautiful resort. Even though AKL is kind of out of the way, we didn't find the bus transportation to be bad at all. On our last stay we had a pool view room and I loved it. Our room was conveniently located near the lobby, gift shop, and the elevator to go down to the pool and Mara . With all of that said, I don't think you can go wrong with either resort, but the WL would be more convenient to get back to after MNSSHP. Good luck deciding, but I'm sure you'll have a great trip no matter which resort you choose .

WL is a great resort! I've never stayed at AKL but would love to try it. At WL you have the option to take the boat or bus to MK which is very convenient. It is also a short boat ride to the Contemporary where you are able to hop on the monorail. POR is actually our least favorite resort on property so far. I hope this helps and have a wonderful trip!

Since you don't go back to your resort for mid day breaks, or hop, and eat in the parks, I don't think resort location will be much of an issue for you.
Either WL or AKL are great resorts.
Location is more of an issue if you hop, go to different parks at night, or eat more at the resort TS.
