Here are my options. Do you think these are awful prices? Which would you choose? I'm hoping for FREE DINING!

OPTION 1
NOV 1-8 (7 nights)
Beach Club
Concierge (so handy with two small kids for breakfast, etc. since there are no quick service options around the BC area. That was my only complaint about the YC when we stayed there. But worth it??)

7 nights
Vacation insurance
Park Hopper
$5795.54

OPTION 2
Same as above EXCEPT first 4 nights at POFQ, last 4 nights BC Concierge (so 8 nights instead of 7)

POFQ - $2164 (buying 8 day park hopper to use when we switch to BC)
BC - $2452 (room only concierge)
= $4616

I figure we while at POFQ we can do MK, DTD, AK, then when we switch to BC we can do EP and HS.

While I type this out it almost seems like a no brainer. With option 2 I would get an extra night and save $1100! Did I do some calculations wrong here?

Thanks for the input!!!

I would go for option #2,but thats just me. I love both POFQ and the beach club so to do a split stay of both sounds like a great trip. And like you said, saving $1000 and gaining a day at disney:cool1: We just did a split stay in March at the Fort Wilderness cabins for four nights and the beach club for four nights. I loved it and and it was like doing two vacations in one.

Thank you! Do you think concierge at BC would be worth it? What did your family do for breakfast each morning? What about quick meals?

Thanks again for the input! :)

Stayed BC concierge last September and will be going again this October. We absolutely loved it! We had breakfast there each day- cereal, fruit, yogurt, muffins/bread and of course juice and coffee. We did take advantage of the afternoon snacks and stuff, but it did not replace meals. The staff was amazing!

I think option 2 sounds good because you can spend some extra time at the parks while staying at POFQ and then when you switch over to BC you will have time to enjoy the resort.

Plus, an extra day is always better!

I think you answered your own question. However I would probably skip the club level at Bc. They have a qs area to get breakfast. Also it is a lot more.

Yes I do worry that we wouldn't use it for whatever reason but I know my girls like to eat as soon as they get up, too. So it would be good to be able to go to the lounge and grab something for the room while we are getting ready, right?

If doing Club level, do they put you in rooms close to the lounge? ARe the views any better on club level?

Thanks!

If the extra money for concierge isn't a problem for you I would go for it. The lack of counter service at the beach club was pretty much the only downside of staying there.

For the most part,we would grab something quick like fruit and cereal at the marketplace. Then,we would get to Epcot, ride a couple rides and we would be hungry again. Our first day in Epcot we rode test track and soarin' and then spent literally an hour walking around looking for a snack that we felt like eating that early and it wasn't an easy task:sad2: So yes, I do think that staying concierge level at the Epcot area resorts would probably make the trip much more enjoyable.

If you just want a quick breakfast in the morning, you could always send a package ahead with cereal, snacks, drinks, plastic ware, and paper goods so you would be able to have breakfast in the room. You would just have to pick up milk and orange juice (if wanted) at the Marketplace or at the store at the Boardwalk. This is what we do and it has worked out really well. For me the BC would be the way to go since I love the Epcot area and that is the only place we have stayed since thoses resorts have opened.

Okay, club level is $1484 more if we stay at BC for 8 nights. (Just tweaking things a little). For less than half of that we could order a huge room service breakfast for 8 mornings!

We will forgo club level and have breakfast in room and order room service here and there if we want to. Still way cheaper!
