Please help me choose. Hertz minivan or Avis standard suv

4 adults, 1 five year old. Normal amount of luggage. Minivan is slightly cheaper.

Can I put grandparents and child on his bubblebum seat in the third row and hopefully stow and go the second row of seats for luggage in the hertz minivan? Don't know if the mco dodge grand caravan or similars do this?

Other reservation is a ford edge or similar standard suv but seeing videos of the rear compartment where the hatch is kind of angled I just don't know if the luggage will fit.

Both vehicles are like 200 to 225 for the week. Next step up is hertz Tahoe for a little over $600. I don't want to go there!!!

All Caravans and Chrysler Towne and Country mini vans have the stow and go, it is their big selling point.

You'll have way more space in the minivan compared to an Edge or similar. And a Tahoe would actually be a step DOWN from a minivan in terms of interior space, so no sense venturing down that road at all IMO.
