Hi Im at Disney and i need a fancy dress shop thats nearest to Disney world!

I have to get some face paints and finish off my sons Army style boots for his MNSSHP outfit, I unpacked the fancy dress case today and realised ive left some stuff at home .

I know from when ive been in Orlando before that they have some amazing party shops that do what im looking for Im just not sure where the nearest place would be as I need to get a TAXI!! as we dont have a car.

Would love any suggestions
Thanks

Robo pretty sure fancy dress shop means costume shop, note where OP is from. *

OP most costume shops are seasonal so I'm not sure how easy it would be to google them. Try going to spirit Halloween´s Web site and look for a local store, www.spirithalloween.com. They open costume shops around the country in unused retail space just for Halloween.

Here is what I get if you Google Orlando costume shops. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en...4j1j1j0j1.9.0.les;..0.0...1ac.1j4.NMmZYB9OXkU

Also depending on what you need, Walmart or Target should still have a pretty good supply of Halloween stuff. I was just at my local Walmart yesterday at it was still fully stocked.

* Glad all those years wasted watching Benny Hill finally come to good use. :lmao:

Depending on what you need, you may be able to find it at a craft store. Here's what I found for Joann Fabrics & Michael's:

Joann's

Michael's

I wouldn't recommend going there for purely halloween stuff, at least Joann's. I was just there and they have very very little right now. They clearance their halloween stuff at least a week before halloween to make room for Xmas.

Now if you just need general crafting supplies that's where you want to go.

Joann's and Michaels have had their stuff (Halloween) on clearance here for at least three weeks already!

I'm guessing they are pretty wiped out.

I should have clarified - I wouldn't suggest going to either of those places if you are looking for strictly Halloween items. OP said she needs to "finish off my sons Army style boots", and while I'm not sure what all that entails, it sounds pretty artsy-crafty to me. I also wouldn't be surprised if they have face paints year-round at those stores, too. Just a suggestion if crafting items are what's needed :)

Thanks for the replies,

The stuff i need is face paints..Tape that make boots I cant think of what its called but you get a sock then you put heavy duty tape around it to make a boot pop holes in it and then lace them up! I then need card to either glue them to or get elastic and strap it to the card as he is a toy story soldier!

The party is tomorrow so I may be getting another outfit for him if need be.

I doubt the craft stores still have makeup so Walmart, target or the costume shop. I have no idea what you are talking about with the boot but duct tape is the tape that makes everything.

I still recommend going to "the loop" there is a costume shop and a Michaels.

It's a bummer for sure to leave Halloween items at home, especially when a child has their heart/plan on being something specific....but you dont have a car, will need a taxi, will be frenzied, and what if they dont have what your looking for?

Sit your little son down, and have a heart to heart. Maybe he will be just as happy as something else. And/or if face paint and shoes is the only thing missing, that's not really too dire for an outfit. Besides, tape and a sock don't sound very comfy, or supportive. I'm not sure where, but there are some face painting places at WDW, maybe you could find one of those for his green army face.
