Please help! GF or Poly CL???

Ok...booking our rooms for Pop in August, and adding a night at a deluxe CL for hubby's and my 12th anniversary I thought I was settled on Poly, but now after looking at photos and reading reviews on GF CL, I'm thinking I should reconsider? It will be me, my husband, and our two boys (11 and 9).

We haven't stayed CL at the Poly, but have stayed CL at the GF (both Royal Palm Club main building and Sugarloaf outer building). You don't say if you're considering RPC or SL, but having stayed both, RPC would be my choice between the two. The GF RPC lounge is very spacious with alot of seating, and the views from there are fabulous, IMO....and the CMs are amazing . The SL lounge, on the other hand, was always busy and very chaotic during our stay as the lounge is right inside the lobby with limited seating for the number of people staying there. But with that said, the SL building is very convenient to the courtyard pool, which makes it nice for grabbing snacks and drinks throughout the day if you're hanging out at the pool . The offerings in both GF CL lounges are the same. I can't comment on Poly CL as we've never tried CL there, but it is on our list of CLs to try. I have read the lounge is pretty spacious and the view from the lounge is amazing .

Stayed poly CL twice. It was nice but breakfast got really boring.. We did have some other issues but I really think you should try both? Maybe a split stay?

We will be staying GF CL (sugarloaf) which has the same exact food and services just the lounge is smaller from my understanding, this will be our first GF stay. I just couldn't see spending the extra $400 for rpc so we are trying sl

They are both nice, but very, very different.

My choice would be in this order:

GF -- RPC is really wonderful. Nice open, spacious, elegant lounge area overlooking the lobby. You can hear the band or the piano playing from below.

Poly -- Great view of the lagoon and the castle. Spacious, relaxed lounge.

GF -- SL is smaller and without a view. Same great food as PRC though.
