So... I am really excited. I leave tomorrow!!

I think I am freaking myself out. I have done my research, and just thought that since I am going early March (next week) crowds would not be that horrible because most school spring breaks are later in March or early April. However since then I think the posts that state March is a horrible time to go are catching my eye. I think I am flipping out because we do not have a "strict" touring plan. So I need reassuring that it ill all be fine. I am going to be in Disney after all right?? What do you think the crowds are going to be like? I have never been in March, and it has actually been 5 years since I was there last...

Anything you can say that would help ease my mind, would be great!

You'll be fine. You'll be in Disney. Are you planning to be at the park for rope drop? If so, you'll have lots of time to get everything done - even if it does get crowded later on...

You appear to be going with just you and your DFi. There is no need for an in depth touring plan. Perhaps someday when you visit with a larger family, but for now it's just the two of you being together and having the time of your lives. Don't feel you need to run around, take it easy. Find which are your favorite rides and ride them over and over again. You won't be able to someday. Spend time just wandering through the shops or looking at the flowers. Feed the ducks. Do not stress. Sleep in and miss rope drop, then stay out till all hours. The people with young-ins can't afford to. Plan for late breakfast and later dinners and skip all the kids and crowds. Once again, you may not be able to the next time you visit. Go hot tubbing at midnight when all the little people are snug in their beds.

I have gone in March before and crowds are not bad at all.

You will have no problem at all with crowds next week (march 8th-12th)

The only event this weekend March 5-7th is the Princess Half-Marathon Weekend, so avoid Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex on Saturday

Spring Break Season Begins around March 13th, and on my Florida residents pass the blackout dates are March 27th - April 9th <-- the busiest time

Did you check online and book a dinner reservation already ?

Have fun :woohoo:

Thank you!! You are lifesavers! I feel so much better. I think I was freaked out because when I said we had no "strict" touring plan, I really meant that we don't have one. I have my favorite rides that I want to ride and a few I have to try! We plan on doing a mixture of things. We do have some late breakfasts. We have some early ones too. We are also meeting with a wedding coordinator to look at some of the places at Disney (my DREAM wedding... :lovestruc ) We are also getting engagement pictures taken :thumbsup2

Could I ask you all one other question? I am VERY bad with weather, it is hard for me to imagine what 76* feels like. So what exactly is the weather like in Florida next week (in my terms, I'm from IN)? Is is swimming warm? Shorts? Those are the terms I understand... I know I am pretty pathetic :rolleyes1

Thank you! You really are my lifesavers!!

Michigan native here. I've traveled in March twice before and gone swimming both times. I don't know if you'd call it warm, but I certainly wasn't uncomfortable walking around with wet hair afterwards. Shorts were fine, but bring a sweatshirt and jeans for evening touring.

76 is totally swimming weather/hang by the pool for me!! If you do have some things that you must try, be sure to get to the park reasonably early..for example, if you have your heart set on trying TSM and don't want to wait in any 1 hour lines, make sure you're in Hollywood Studios before 11 and head right over to Toy Story Mania to get your Fast Pass. But for the most part, you'll be fine. If you want to post a lst of your must do's - we can let you know if any of them require special planning....

You will be fine. Unfortunately you "know" about what the crowds are suppose to be like.

Last March was my first time ever at WDW, I wanted to go for my 40th bday. Well it was around spring break, I knew nothing of "crowds" or "don't go around spring break" and we were fine.
Yes it is crowded, but nothing I am not use to going to Cedar Point on the weekends up here.
We had to utilitze FP and stand more in lines than going on off times, but it did not make our trip horrible.

Sometimes I think knowing to much hinders us......

I am from IN too. Think very nice summer day. That is perfect weather! You can definitely swim. Might get a bit chilly at night but, just get in the hot tub! :goodvibes
Have a good time!

I have done this week for 3 years now. A week later then we normally do, something came up and we have friends waiting for us. We leave next Tuesday. I wouldn't worry about crowds. It never really crowded until the end of the month.

76* is 1 deg warmer than 75* :lmao: hehe j/k

It will be hot in the sun, don't forget sunscreen, and if you do they sell sunscreen at a lot of shops

Oh, if it rains, Florida rain comes and goes quickly
