Please help…which day at which park

I am visiting Universal on Sunday October 31 and Monday November 1. I am not doing Horror Nights. I am also doing one park each day with no hopping.

Am I better off visiting Universal Studios on Sunday which has Horror Nights or should I visit Islands of Adventure that day instead?

I have been bouncing this around my head for two days and cannot come up with a resolution. Any advise or experience is most welcome!

The park closes at 5 on days hhn is held
Take a look at the rides and shows in each park and decide which one is more interesting to you

You can figure out which park needs more time to explore
You might not have interest to spend an entire day in k e of the parks
