Please explain trash and towel day for me!!

If I check in on Sunday, I have trash and towel on the 4th day right? Is that Wednesday or is that after the 4th night....being Thursday?? So confused!! Can anyone confirm!!

Trash and towel (T&T) day is the 4th day after you check in. Your check in day counts as your 1st day.

So if you check in on sunday, you will get T&T on Wednesday.

If you are staying 8 nights or more, you will get a full cleaning on Wednesday, a T&T on the following sunday, and the cycle repeats itself... full cleaning on Wedsnesday and T&T on Sunday, until you check out.

I have 4 different confirmation sheets for one past trip and 3 upcoming....it is nowhere on there!!! Am I just missing it?? The reason I asked this question is because I have gotten 2 different answers from DVC CM's on the phone...

It's always day four with the day of check in as day one. It also is always listed on the confirmation sheet, but usually near the bottom.

I'm with you engle....got my confirmation in my hand, and nowhere does it say about the trash & tidy service.

I have my confirmation in hand as well. Here's what it says:

Arrival: Saturday, December 5, 2009 Departure: Saturday December 12, 2009
Vacation home type: Dedicated 2-Bedroom

Housekeeping Trash/TOWEL service: 12/08

The word towel is all caps for whatever reason...

Okay, I am trusting you all that it will be day four....with check in being the first day. But I have scoured the confirmation sheets and it isn't on there!!!

In your room there will be a card explaining T&T service and the 4-day policy. It will give an example with check in on Sunday - T&T happens on Wednesday in this case for stays no longer than 7 days. Let me assure you this is correct - I was just there, checked in Sunday, got T&T on Wednesday.

wow, I've always had it on my confirmation sheets and I have a ton of them. I've never had it not listed on one.
