Please educate me-Hannah Montana IS Miley Cirus right?

I know Miley Cyrus is the real name...when she goes on tour she is performing as her TV character? (Hannah) I ask because I've seen headlines that say Hannah Montanta AND Miley Cyrus. And I see two different hair colors on the girl...I'm so confused!

You are not losing your mind. Miley Cyrus IS Hannah Montana. At her concert, she first appeared at Hannah, then did a "quick change" & came back out as Miley. THEN via computer imaging, they BOTH performed together at the end of the show. (God help me for knowing this!!!! )

Miley Cyrus plays "Miley" on the tv show- a girl who has a secret life as rock star Hannah Montana. Miley Cyrus's father Billy Ray (the country star) plays her father on the tv show as well. Miley Cyrus does her concerts as bother herself and her alter ego.

Billy Ray plays Miley Stewarts dad on the show...Bobbie Ray Stewart, I think is his name. When Miley is Hannah- she is in disguise, so when her dad is Hannah's manager, HE is in disguise too- hence the moustache. Her friend Lilly is in diguise when she is wearing the wigs, she is with Hannah in those cases. Jason earles, 30??? I don't know.

Funny, DD just told me that today!

I think it's a little odd they always hire people that are way older than the character's age. Instead of short, older people I don't see why they can't actually get someone who's really that age.

31?!?!?! Really! That's kind of scary! Aren't all the others---kids? They were talking to him on radio disney and he was saying how he, Miley, Emily, and Mitchell are always playing around and goofing off, and how close they all are...I would have never expected that he was an adult!

Okay, now that's really scary. He is on those spots on the disney channel where they sit and talk about everything from cell phones to parents or whatnot. Are there not decent 17 year old actors out there??? We're not talking this is rocket science or even Oscar calibur acting. How odd!!

yeah jason earles is 31! and im pretty sure he has a kid! thats the actor who plays her brother. and just to confuse you all a little more,
destiny hope/miley/hannah, changed her "official" name to miley ray cyrus.
becuase when she was born the name on her birth certificate was destiny hope cyrus. they nicknamed her "smiley" and shortened it to "miley" so all her life she was being called her nickname. on the show she plays miley stewart, a normal teenage girl, who is secretly a popstar that goes by the name of hannah montana.
so now, the miley/hannah, thing is the same, but she just cut out the destiny part.

Well, I checked in to Jasen earles and it seems as though someone changed his bday on imdb...his birthdate is actually 4-26-85. So he's not 31, but he's not a teen either. I didn't see anything about him being married or having a kid.

from what I read, the changed his bday because they wanted his fans to think he is younger. Last year, In the USA Today, it stated he was turning 29 on April 26th 2007. His resume says 85. there were pictures of his wedding around a few months ago..
