:rotfl2: okay.....last night when MS called me to tell me most of my wait list came through....he asked me if I still wanted the 19th on the wait list for BWV. I got 20th through 23rd. I currently have 5 nights SSR followed by the 4 at BWV. I paused and said...hmmmm didn't plan on doing 5 at BWV (first time home..thought we should do 5 at SSR) but maybe I might. So.....he kept that wait listed til I decide for sure. So....here it is: What do you think...5 nights SSR and 4 at BWV??? or 4 at SSR and 5 at BWV. I think you guys know enough about that Aug. trip (probably MORE than you want to know :rotfl: ) and know that we only plan on doing a couple of EC days. We want to do resort/water parks/disney quest/relaxing at resort/ DTD. I am thinking leaving at 5 for SSR and calling tomorrow to come off that one day wait list for another at BWV. :scared1: THANKS.

I honestly would be happy with either scenario. Stop worrying and get ready to enjoy yourself!:cool1:

I would leave it alone and forget the waitlist- then it will make it easier to start your touring plan =) But I am no authority- I have never stayed at any DVCvresort yet.

Where are you staying on your 1st trip home?

EDK I have planned my first trip for SSR (my home resort). My second trip is also planned for SSR.
When I joined DVC I was really excited to try all the different resorts but my
1st trip we will be just relaxing and not hitting the parks, shopping, maybe do a spa treatment... so SSR was the perfect choice, and for my 2nd trip we are treating my parents and I think they will really like the traditional decor and quiet atmosphere -so SSR is 2 for 2 with us. I really hope to try somewhere new for our 3rd trip.

I think 5 at SSR followed by 4 at BWV is perfect! We've done he same thing with SSR and BCV. The change of scenery is nice. SSR is more relaxed, so I think a longer stay there is plus.

Do AK and MK while at SSR and Epcot and MGM while at BWV. Couldn't be better.

Are you sure you want to switch resorts mid-stay? A LOT of people do but we don't like the hassle. I have four daughters whose suitcases become clothes geysers. I'd pick one and then slowly move the days to the other, one by one, if necessary. Try one resort one trip; try a different resort the next. That's our plan.

We've had no problem switching. We generally live out of suitcases on vacation anyway, so it's no big deal for us. If you are really organized, you can even pack a case for each resort.

Disney handles the transfers. We just get out bags ready the day of the transfer, leave them with Bell Services, and then go to the park nearest our new resort.
