Please critique my dining plans

Dh, myself, & DD4's 1st trip to WDW and way too many excellent places to eat. Here's what I came up with, tell me what you think. I have the FREE dining plan & if I have figured this right we have 3 - snacks, 3 - counter service meals, & 3 - table service meals each.


Tuesday, August 30th (will not be in Orlando until about 4pm)
Dinner - somewhere in Orlando or DTD (any suggestions, something reasonable, will be paying out of pocket)

Wednesday, August 31st - Magic Kingdom
Breakfast - Crystal Palace - 8am (before the park opens) table service
Lunch - CRT - late lunch 1:30 or so - table service
Dinner - Cosmic Rays - counter service

Thursday, September 1st - MGM
Breakfast - in room
Lunch - ??? need suggestions - counter service
Dinner - Chef Mickeys - table service

Friday, September 2nd - Animal Kingdom
Breakfast - in room
Lunch - ??? need suggestions - counter service
Supper - Leaving (eat on the road)

I think you made some good choices. I can't offer any advice for MGM counter service but I hear there's not much to choose from. Depending on where you are staying you might want to consider using your counter service for breakfast on that day. Check allearsnet.com for menus!!

As for AK - there are some great choices for counter service. My favorite is Tusker House, but I've also heard that Flame Tree has excellent BBQ. I don't think you can go wrong at either place.

Try Flame Tree BBQ or the Noodle House at AK - or better yet, go to BOMA or JIKO at AKL.

MGM - if you need to stay in the parks, try 50's Prime Time if they have opennings or if counter service, I like the counters by Tower of Terror. If looking for restaurant - boatride to Spoodles at Boardwalk.

Thank you for the counter service suggestions. We have decided to stay one more night so I booked Ohanas!
