Please convince me to use AirTran

I just found a rate of $640 total for four travellers leaving from Phily. Far beats US Air, anybody have anything to say about AirTran(positive or negative)?

If you do a search on this forum on Airtran, I think you will find what you are looking for....We are flying with them out of Rochester in 4 weeks and have heard nothing but good things about them. Their customer service is excellent, many of their planes are new, and you just can't beat their prices for non-stop flights to Orlando. Good luck!

We flew Philly to Orlando last November on AirTran. We had no problems, no complaints. We had a good rate with the flight times we wanted.

Don't hesitate... we had no other choice then to return on AirTran from MCO to Philly. We took USAir going down and DH was very, very nervous about the AirTran return flight. Not only did we have no problems, but we actually found the plane to be in much better condition then USAir and the crew and service was fantastic. After our experience, we actually prefer AirTran to USAir.

We just flew Air Tran last week. We flew from Philadelphia to Orlando on US Air and we returned on Air Tran. I was a little nervous about flying back on Air Tran. Turns out that I was worried for nothing!! The Air Tran plane was new and the crew was very nice. I will definitely fly Air Tran again!!

Don't worry!! Airtran is great. I have flown Airtran over 30 times in the last 3 or 4 years and the only problem we ever encountered was a toilet stopped up. Now that could be a problem if your in flight, however we were still on the ground. They had it all cleaned up and fixed within 20 minutes, with no smell. We are flying in June again on Airtran to Orlando out of Akron/Canton. For the price, you cannot beat them!!

They do have great customer service and the newest fleet of any other airline. I think it was like 90% all new planes. If you buy your tickets online you can reserve your actual seat 24 hours before your flight. No getting there 3 hours ahead hoping to get seats together! Join their little club for free and get free drink coupons. Even though they say they have a penalty charge for changes they waived it for us when we had to postpone our trip. My DH and DS went on them last October and upon check in asked about an upgrade to business class. They do this for only $35 if there are seats available. They loved the added leg room as they are both 6Ft or taller. I prefer them to SW or any other airline and will actually pay more to fly with them. I think you made a great choice. I just got 4 tickets, R/T, non stop from Maryland to MCO for $617 flying out in October. Last October we got tickets for only $125 R/T, non stop. Have a nice trip!

We love 'em! We fly Airtran out of BWI. It has supplanted SW as our favorite airline. Enjoy!
