hey everyone...i'm back.

let's just say i'm not pleased with walmart. the fridge never arrived while i was there. it will be delivered to disneymom06 tomorrow. what a pain. we ended up renting one for the whole time.

but it will be there tomorrow, so no one else should have a problem.

i will be going through this thread and pm's over the next couple of days, so if you requested dates, don't worry, i will get back to you soon!

oh, and we had a wonderful time! i started my dining report, and will start my trip report in a few days!

welcome home, marcia! that's so awful about the fridge not arriving! you did all this organizing and what do you get for it? nothing! did you call walmart and complain? maybe they would give you a coupon or something to use in the future? that's just sucky!!!

hope the weather was decent for you. i know orlando has been getting pounded by rain.

Hi Marcia,

I am so sorry to hear about the problem with the fridge. That is just plain awful!!!! I'm glad you didn't let you ruin your trip, though. I would definitely contact Wal-mart corporate and see if they can make it up to you in some way.

Hi, Has anyone thought of adding a toaster? That would be great. I always fly there, without a car, so it would be difficult for me to add one.

Anyway we will going to POP from Jan 24 to Feb. 1. Are those dates available?

Marsh I am looking at a group trip next Sept so may need 2 fidges for 9/12-9/24/2009. Will confirm later. I think I have 1 but would be nice to have another with so many of us!!

I actually had to change my dates to the next week so I'll now be there Oct.25-Nov.1st so we'll have to wait and see what Marcia says.

I still have not seen the frig yet. I got your note when we arrived on the 20th but luggage services had no frig. I even walked into the area where the two boxes that you left were being stored. Even though we don't drink coffee, I took the boxes out of the storage area because I didn't want anything to get lost.

I was told that they would notify me when the frig got here, but nothing, so we also rented one. I will give the two boxes to the next swapper, hopefully the frig will be here for him as he gets here tomorrow.

Just wanted to let you know what was happening as this was my first chance to get online.

pop is really frustrating me now...they called me two days and i gave them all your info AGAIN and they told me they would let you know it's there. it's not in the luggage area, it's behind the front desk.

and an update on the fridge - i just spoke to pop, they have the fridge. they now have mstew99's info on it, as he is arriving tomorrow. mike, please call me asap when you arrive if they tell you any differently! and i apologize profusely to erin, i wish they had gotten in touch with you like they promised me they would!

I am glad that they found it. When I checked in they said I had one waiting, (the front desk told me this) and then told me to go to luggage services to pick it up. Luggage services had nothing but the two boxes, said they would call me when it arrived. I did check back a couple of times but after a while I just figured that it was still backordered.

Everyone that I spoke to was really nice and let me look in the area, there were no frigs, but I am really glad that it has arrived safely.

I will put the other two boxes in luggage services tonight for the next swapper so he can label the unit for everyone.

UPDATE!!!! and it's good news!!!

i heard from mike (mstew99), and they had the fridge waiting for him at checkin. thank goodness! so we finally have it! phew, i feel much better now. i apologize to erin so so much, i wish they had gotten in touch with you like they were supposed to. what a pain. but i'm glad it's finally in our possession.

it can only get better from here forward!
