just wanted to let you guys know that everything went smoothly with the fridge/coffeemaker swap while i was there. last year when i did a swap i had to pick the package up at the front desk. this time i asked if i had a package waiting on me and the CM disappeared, then came back with an envelope for me. inside the envelope was a tag where i could go to luggage services and turn that tag in, then they'd go get the boxes waiting for me. and with a small tip, i had the boxes delivered to my room - VERY EASY!!! i think this method is so much easier than having to wait for the front desk to go find the package for you.

when i left the package for the next swapper, the luggage services CM told me i didn't even need to leave them a tag, just have their name & reservation # on the boxes and they could pick it up that way. so if you can't do an in-person swap, this is the way to go!

so glad to hear it went well for you! i would still advise people to get a claim ticket if possible...just because if they lose it, they can be held responsible. hope everyone else has great experiences too!!!

just a little update...our fridge was lost, but now it's found! it is currently in the possession of billwald.

and just as a reminder, anyone who hasn't sent me info, please do. the problem with the fridge occurred because of communication problems, and i didn't have any contact info to help out the swappers.

anyway, ok, so we're all good as of now.
