Yes, the smell was still there last week.

Haven't been but didn't all the pastries and cinnamon buns move to Gastons?
Linda
I don't understand. You state you want a decent cup of coffee and you are thrilled for Starbucks. They don't sell good coffee at Starbucks. (but what they sell is better than Nescafé.)I demand a decent cup of coffee!!!! (I get what you are saying and it would have been nice to see the cinnamon rolls stay but for everyone who wants one thing, someone else wants another. Personally, I'm thrilled for Starbucks)
They don't sell anything "Disney" until after 11. The artisan breakfast sandwiches are the same pre made microwave sandwiches you get at your local Starbucks. The worse part of losing the bakery is the smell. Just walking down Main Street and smelling the delicious pastries and treats is gone. Yes, it was a smell Disney pushed out onto the street but its still no longer there.

What a travesty of justice! Was hoping to see some of my old favorites in there but alas I was disappointed. I demand cinnamon buns! I demand huge chocolate muffins! I demand giant chipwhiches! Mickey can you hear me?! Aren't there enough Starbucks in the world!

[I'm on the DIS Boards app and can't put in the smilies to indicate my post isn't intended to be serious.]

1) People wanted Starbucks.
2) For what reason I do not know.
3) In this this case, they got their Starbucks.
4) And ruined it for the rest of us who liked the old bakery goods.
Be Careful For What You Wish . . . You Might Just Get It.

Do they still pump the fresh baked aroma into Main Street? I always thought that it was so funny that they did that. The bakery goods were never baked in the Main Street Bakery. They were baked offsite and shipped in. As such, they are still available, but in different locations.
You may find them at Big Top Treats, or at the Boardwalk bakery. You've just got to look!
All the Starbuck's lovers did was move your treats elsewhere.
That's on Disney then. They could still use the same product if they wished to and the puzzling aspect is why they don't.We tried the cinnamon buns at Gastons and they are not the same. They have maple frosting and they are dry--not warm and gooey!!![]()
