Please Black Friday Help Needed !

We are going to Discovery Cove and Sea world and also Bush Gardens in April 2009. I was thinking of buying a camcorder.( We can't Wait !!!!)

1) I saw that Walmart has a Black Friday camcorder: Pure Digital F230 30 minute Digital Camcorder for $79.00 I don't have alot of $$ to spend, Does anyone know if this would be a ok camcorder? I don't need anything fancy.

2)What is the differance between a 2 GB SD Card (Walmart Black Friday $7.00) and San Disk 4 GB SDHC Card ( Walmart black friday $10.00)? I don't know what HC stand for ?

3) My daughter wants her own digital Camera for x-mas she is 8 years old, I saw Walmart has an Samsung 10.2 mp Digital Camera for $69. on Black Friday what do you guys think about that for her ? She have ask Santa for her own Camera.

Don't know about the Pure Digital F230.

HC = High Capacity (higher than 4GB? don't think so just higher than a regular 4GB.) If you look at a regular card on your computer say 4GB they only allow like 3.6GB for data or pictures. I would imagine the HC cards hold closer to the capacity than that.

10.2MP for an 8YO wow, we bought our daughter a 4MP last year for Christmas and she was 13. She won't need that nice of a camera but the price is good.

HC means High Capacity - it means that the internal parts on the card are designed to support more memory at faster read rates. Note that some cameras do NOT support SDHC memory - it will be listed in the specs of the camera if it does.

I don't know anyone that has one of those flip cameras. They sound pretty cool but limited for time, too IMHO. I'm always a proponent of "You get what you pay for" but I'm not really sure what to compare this to...
