Plaza Inn before park opens - times to be at gate?

At the end of August, Disneyland opens at 10am. We have a 9:20am ressie for Plaza Inn - what time should we be at security? Once we are through, which gates is it that we go to for our ressie - if we are looking at the turnstiles head on, is it on the far left or far right?

We were told to go to the gate closet to DTD. The CM there will check you off the list, scan your ticket and let you in.

I have no idea about security these days.

Security is definitely beefed up...bag check plus metal detector for everyone. I would get there a few minutes before 9 just to be safe.

Is it a MM day with the MM at 9? If so I believe they'll let you in at 9 or 9:10. They won't make you wait until the exact time of your ressie to let you in the park.

Yes it is a MM morning. So eventhough we don't have MM this time (only doing two park days this trip) we should probably plan to be at the gates even a bit earlier.

If you don't have a MM can you enter the park early if you have a Plaza Inn reservation? We have a reservation for 740 but the park doesn't open for general entry until 0800.

Yep! You just need to show them your reservation at the turnstiles (apparently the turnstiles at the far end closest to downtown Disney) and your name should be on a list as having a reservation.
