I have been looking at the Playhouse Disney Live on Stage and my daughter wanted to do that while we are there. I read somewhere that Stanley is in the show now. Is this true?
My DD also loves Stanley. She was 2.5 yrs. when we saw it. She may have to stand up to see him on stage since he's a bit "shorter" than the other characters. Make sure you get some vodeo of the show itself. My DD (now 4 yrs.) still loves watching it. I also asked if you can meet Stanley and I guess he's been spotted in Animal Kingdom. This will be the one character we'll be seeking out when we go Have fun!!
If your daughter likes Stanley I have heard he is in Animal Kingdom in Rafiki's planet watch now. I think he is the size of the other characters out in the park. (in the playhouse show he is only a puppet) We are planning to see if we can find him in dec when we take our ds. He loves the show! He has been trying to jump into everything that has WDW on it, just like Stanley jumps into the great big book of everything. It is really cute, but I am afraid is really going to hurt himself if he slides on one of the books!
NavyDotz - no problem. I love Steve's site. I'm there every week updating for our trip.
Mommyflower - You say Stanley is only a puppet in the Playhouse show?! My daughter is a fan of Stanley, not The Bear. Is it worth our time to so see the show if he's only a puppet? How long is he in it for?
heather208,
The show is broken up with bear and friends starting it out then they go into stories. There is one for stanley, one for rolie polie olie, and one for pooh. Then bear and friends come back out and dance. All but Bear and the person running the show are puppets. The puppets I would guess are about two feet tall maybe more. The part with stanley includes dennis the fish and a guest from the great big book of everything. The whole show was about 20 to 25 mins. We think is it great! Does your daughter like any of the other characters I mentioned? I think it is worth taking a peek at because the kids really love it. They dance and sing and bubbles come down from the ceiling. I would say each story is about five minutes and bear & his gang take up the first and last five minutes of so. I hope this helps!
My DD (5) and DS (18 months) love this show. Don't sit to close to the stage though. It is higher then the audience and the little ones sitting up front can't see much on stage. Don't stand with them in the way back either, then they can see to much (whats going on under the stage).
