I am sorry this happened to you. Can you please give the detials of HOW you were scammed so that others know the way in which this was done. This can be done without mentioning names, just focusing on the actions that took place.
Thanks.
Hey Dreams -
I was there in the room with him and actually speaking to him in person while this was all going on. Basically she came into his room and said she liked his offer. He told her that she could have any 15 items of her choice from the offer in the first window but the Stitch hat had to be given in the first window as well. Yada yada yada, she cried how she had been scammed in the past - I offered to assist with the trade as I am a day 1 player with alot to lose should I get banned for a scam, but she still would not have it. She agreed to trade the stitch hat in the last window, and Grim had a good feeling about it so he went ahead with the trade - in the last window (#4) he asked her to put up the Stitch hat, and that is when she ran.
She then was found in a room titled "My New Stuff" and conveniently laid out all the stuff she just took from him - which made it easy for us to make an exact list of what had been taken.
Grim has sent in a report through contact us, as well as emailed VMK, and has even placed a phone call to VMK General Operations with all information such as date, time, room title, players names, and a list of items stolen. In all this, Grim is not looking to have his items returned to him (although that would be nice) but he just wants to know that this player will see some sort of punishment as a result. Lets hope they will take the time to review the chat and trade logs.
This player needs to receive an IP ban for this behavior - we have been going from trade room to trade room with Stitch offers to warn people of this girl - and in our travels have found at least two others who have been victim to her.
The trade system is seriously flawed in this game. All these highly desired items cannot be traded for in 1 trade window a fair amount of time, and unless some sort of changes are made in this area - these scams will continue as long as these players are out there.
