I am platinum and cruising in the same cabin with my husband and sister-in-law. When I tried to book brunch for the 3 of us, it showed no availability. I was able to book for my husband and myself and then my SIL separately for the same time, 11:00. Will this be an issue to seat us together and also for her to receive the comp meal?
Hope this makes sense! TIA for any guidance!

I would go to the "Dining Changes" spot upon embarkation and see if they fix your reservations. If that doesn't work, try going to Palo during their regular operating hours and ask if they can put the 3 of you together. They are usually very accommodating. Enjoy your cruise! :)

I would try calling DCL and see if they can fix it over the phone.

I would wait to be on the ship. All table assignments are handled by the onboard team. There‘s no point in risking messing up the reservations considering all the guests have a spot at the appropriate time.

OP, the podium at Palo opens at 12:30 on embarkation day. There’s usually less guests there than at the dining changes table. Go meet the head server and he’ll make it work. You ran into one of the mysteries of advance bookings on DCL. They create a sense of rarity then make you feel like you got something special when they make it work. It’s an old Disney trick.

Yep, agree that you should do once onboard. We have had the same problem before and had it fixed onboard. As far as your SIL getting comped....I believe any adult in the same cabin with the Platinum member gets one comped Palo meal...either brunch or dinner (whichever you do first).

Thank you all for the input. I appreciate it and feel much better! I will make sure I go to Palo to get it corrected.

Interesting -- the Castaway Club benefits page says that platinum gets a "complimentary dinner" at Palo. It says dinner several times including in the fine print, never brunch. Is brunch now allowed as well? I assumed it was dinner only because they have more dinner availability than brunch and want to maximize the number of paying guests at brunch, but maybe they just don't advertise the brunch part.

We’ve had our brunch comped as our Platinum meal without problem or even asking, and many here have reported the same. They just do not publicize it.

We travel with our neighbors who are Platinum all the time. We always have to have our Palo reservations combined because we can't book at the same time. Lately, because our reservations are linked, Palo has been combining our reservations for us before we even get on the ship. The complimentary Platinum Palo meal works for brunch and dinner. Check your Navigator App before going to check with Palo.

We've been able to do brunch, no issues.

This indicates to me that they probably had only two-top tables available at that time for reservations. But they hold inventory for people to book after boarding, so it seems like you'll be just fine to combine into a single table for your meal.
