When DH and I were at WDW in April I saw people with these plastic pouch-things clipped to their lanyards. They had their park tickets in them, fast passes, money...all sorts of things. Does anyone know where we might find these? I have tried looking on Ebay but I guess I am not using the right WORDS to describe them because I come up with nada!

Thanks!

I'm not sure Ebay would be your best source for these. I'd try a google search for ID card lanyards, and see what you can come up with.

A slight warning about these ... I saw one family that had a park ticket get stuck (due to friction of the plastic) inside the pouch, took them about 5 minutes to get the ticket out.

If you can't find anything on Google, I know of a place I can get them, less than $5 each ... I'd be willing to pick you up a few and mail them for the cost of the item plus shipping.

WDW sells them almost everywhere they sell pins. I loved having mine...never had to worry about key and credit card falling out while getting in and out of rides.

The only caveat was that since the Disney staff wear them, people mistook me for an employee and asked me dumb questions. In the lobby of Hall of Presidents...

"What time does the show start?"

Every hour on the hour, every half-hour, too.

"So I just missed it?"

Nope, I've got ten 'till.

"Right! So I just missed it?"

No, it'll start in about ten minutes, on the hour.

"Yes, so I MISSED IT."

I don't work here, I think that's a staff member over there.

"Oh, you don't? I'm sorry."

Have a whole new appreciation for WDW staff. :)

I bought a lanyard with one of these at World of Disney at DTD last December. The clear pouch was different from the one on ebay, it was horizontal rather than vertical and if the ones on ebay are what I think they are, the one I got at Disney was much thicker and more durable. DH has one like the ebay ones for his work ID and it falls apart regularly. The one I got at DTD was PERFECT for holding all of our passes, fastpasses etc. Unfortunately it broke during our trip in April of this year. DS was trying to unzip it and pulled to hard so the zipper thing slid right off the zipper track. I looked high and low for another one and was willing to buy another lanyard if that's what it took (DS 4 could used the lanyard with his pins) but we couldn't find them anywhere. I ended up buying one of those fast pass holders in the park. It's a vinyl pouch (vertical like the ebay ones) on a thingy that clips to your belt and has a string to pull out and have it snap back in. I took the pouch off of the holder to use on my lanyard and let DS have the retractable string thingy to put his mini flashlight on. :) It was OK but no where near as durable as the first one. If I had all 3 of our park passes and my hotel key card in it, it split along the side. :(

I'm hoping to find another durable one on our next trip!

I use a plastic pouch sold in Walmart that is used to hold fishing liscenses. They are a dollar and they've lasted quite a few trips. I'll need one my next trip. They are sold in the jewlrey section, not in the sportsman section.

I bought ones for my whole group that went in June off E-bay and they are wonderful. The ones I got even had a small red mickey head in the lower corner. The vinyl is thicker than others I have seen and it pushes together like a zip lock bag. Very easy to use. I'm not sure if they still are on E-bay.

When we went to WDW last October, I was advised to get one from these boards. I think it's great. It is horizontal and comes with a black lanyard. The only think I don't like about it is the lanyard attaches together with velcro. Never came off my neck, but there's always the possibility.

I found them in Wal-Mart near the watches. They were pretty inexpensive, if I remember. They have the zip pocket and then a slot on the outside to stick FastPasses. I will use mine again in October.

Hope this helps.

it is also a ziplock which I think would be nice -

thanks for the post b/c i just ordered these!!

I ordered the ones with the Mickey heads on them from this person on Aug 22 and still haven't gotten them and they won't reply to my emails. Be careful ordering from them.

I got a package of badge holders from Office Depot for less than 5 dollars. I attach two of them to my pull string clip. One for my tickets and ID, the other for resort ID and Fastpasses.

Instead of a lanyard, I use the following:

I clip it on my belt.

We use lanyards and passholder pouches from www.passporter.com. There is a see-thru pocket on the front, one pocket protected with velcro and another with a zipper. On the back there's a perfectly FP sized pocket and space for two pens (even one fat one). I use this extensively on our visits.

Check out the hardware and camping supplies stores. They usually carry the waterproof pouches there. I have had the passporter pouch that a previous poster spoke of and it is excellent. I have used these on every trip to disney. Very handy!
