I have a few questions that I DESPREATLY need answered!!!! If anyone of you more experienced dissers could help me, I'd really appreciate it!!!

1. We have a (will then be) 3 year old. Will he enjoy himself at UV and IOA? Is it even worth going, as I've heard that most rides are for 8 year olds and up.

2. Do they have a child swap type thing at UV and IOA, like they do at Disney???

3. We were planning on staying offsite because it is super cheaper. I realize the many benifits you get for staying onsite, like being able to go to the front of the line for all the rides with your room key. Are the crowds big in October? We will be going during HHN, too and staying for 5 nights. Will we need the benifit of getting to the front of the line in october? I can handle waiting a little bit, but no 1 1/2-2 hours for one ride!!! We will be in UV and IOA for 3 days, will that be enough time for us to ride everything if we don't stay onsite???

4. Is there a childrens area at all in the parks, like for a 3 year old to play in?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks!!!!! :wave2:

He will love it. For things for young children to do click here: http://www.usoinfo.com/Parkinfo/kids.html

Yes, they do and even better than Disney. Some have areas that you can sit inside the airconditioned room and watch tv.

During the day, the lines shouldn't be too long at all. On HHN though the lines will be very long. Make sure you get express passes for HHN. By UV do you mean Universal studios? I'm trying to figure out a theme park abbreviated UV but I'm not up on all the disboard abbreviations. If you mean Universal it is US, USO, or USF. If you mean US/IoA, then 3 days should be plenty to see everything.

Yes, see link above. There are great play areas for 3 year olds in both IoA and US.

Thanks!!! and yes, I did mean Universal Studios. Sorry!

Well, I guess we'll keep our trip going then. Thanks for the info!!

For the child swap that they have a universal and IOA, does the one parent get to go through the "child swap" line and not have to wait in the looonnngggg line, and then the other parent the same thing? Or do both parents hve to wait in the long line, or does 1 parent get to go on right away and the other parent get to go on later?

There are two ways you can do this.

1. Both parents wait inline with child. When they get near the ride load area, one parent takes the child to childswap while the other parent rides. When the parent gets off the ride, he goes to childswap and waits with the child while the other parent rides through the express/FOTL area that is near the load area. The second parent will essentially walk on the ride.

Or....

2. One parent goes straight to child swap with the child while the othr parent waits in line. After the first parent rides the ride, he stays with the child while the other parent jumps in the FOTL and rides.

The second option keeps the child from having to wait in line.

Also with child swap any other children that aren't doing the child swap can ride twice, once with one parent and then again with the other.

That's a pretty cool deal!! That's really nice that they provide you with air conditioned rooms so you don't have to wait in the heat. Disney should definaltey do something like that, too.

Do all attractions have the air conditioned room? Do they provide toys and stuff, or just a TV?

I'm to excited, and I have OVER 365 days left!!! :hyper: :earseek:
